The WARL has technically 8 teams. One team is a bunch of expat miners. Only 3 teams are in Perth proper.
It's really an amalgamation of two divisions.
The first four teams have points ranging from +265 to +388.
The last four teams have points ranging from -256 to -660.

Toronto has 10 first division teams evenly matched ranging fro 8 to 52 points.

In all reality the warl has only four first division clubs and four second division clubs at best.
Obviously they run them together as the one division to avoid embarrassment.

in reality .... it has 16 clubs with teams in most age groups 116 teams in 2011 +
it has a Bundy Red cup team ( NSWRL 2nd Div )
an SG ball team U18's in the NSWRL
will have a Toyota Cup U20's .. giving young Western Australians a chance to make a living playing RL

& an NRL side by 2015
it is a growing sport in WA

oranges with oranges, not a state full of oranges with a city full of oranges
or compare the age of the orange pickers or their likely job prospects etc.
