What if the Swans win the Grand Final?

Post by Grim Reaper »

What would happen in Sydney is the Swans win the Grand Final? Will they have to wait to find out where they have their celebrations after the weekend round of results in the NRL?

One thing is certain, should Sydney make the GF, the highest TV ratings ever will be recorded. A ticker tape parade down George Street with our new Swans fan Premier presenting the keys to the city to Barry Hall would seem fitting if we win the big one.

I think that ticker tape parade in George Street may not happen as that is reserved for the NRL teams...unless you mean George Street in Parramatta.

Make no mistake, every rugby league zealot out there would love nothing more than the Swans to fall short. Their worst fear is anything resembling the onflow of support experienced in Brisbane.

It is, however, a sports loving sydney-siders dream, and i would anticipate a celebration far in excess than anything the Bulldogs could muster last year.

After to Bulldogs win there was a massive increase in rapes being reported to the Police....Is this what Sydney could expect if the Ca Swannies win as well?
