I should have put this in the fight club forum
Does it matter which forum anyone posts in?
The rules (or no rules) seem to be the same.
There are lies, damn lies and then there are ratings.
Rugby league, Australias most popular game in some of North Eastern Australia.

Seems that way. Was hoping the individual league forums would see more mature conversations as the excuse in the Fighr Club is it’s a fight club therefore people I thought acted boorish and childlike - hence only the boorish and childlike are left. Held out hope of some normal conversation here amongst adults but ….. whilst I have put those morons on ignore, as they meke up the vast majority of posters there is little to read and respond to nowadays.

Seems to a good crowd at the Lions tonight m. Brisbane loves its sport obviously and seems plenty of room for AFL given the focus on the nrl game on tonight.

Yes, very good crowd…..not as many as the dolphins game, but far better than some of our NRL were predicting. A win for Australian Rules in Brisbane.

where did any ..NRL.. predict anything re the wions cwowd :-k
We like all actual Qlders , were all focused on the biggest show in town by the length of the straight at eagle farm & boy what a show it was

what some sthn ex pat mongs do in their spare time is of no interest to us
if noodle arms & fumbling is their thing , so be it
Brisbanes 2nd NRL side is already bigger then the wions after just 4 games...

There was plenty of coverage - particuarly in light of it being in same time as the nrl game and also around how busy the city would be. You need to get out of your nrl bubble lol.

i will reframe my post..

LIONS got very limited coverage across radio, print and digital media in QLD when compared to the Brisbane Derby
which prob outnumbered it 10,000 to 1

i will say if you looked at numbers across the board.
this game generated more attention awareness than the LIONS will receive the entire H&A Season
