There is a standard there: you can't expect it to be anywhere near the mens game !Terry wrote: ↑Fri Feb 02, 2018 1:42 pmThe national AFLW comp has just begun but the AFL boasts they have ladies comps all around Australia. Some figures are as high as 465,000 'players'. Now we all know that is not remotely near the truth but I would have expected last years AFLW comp to provide some better standard athletes than it did.
I will check out tonights game if I get a chance and see whether there has been any improvement.
If they deal with the stalking lesbian issue they will have a shot at an ongoing league but not until!Terry wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2018 7:51 pmGreat article by Richard Hinds. The Cinderella effect has gone up in smoke for the lady fumblers. They are now, and should be, treated like the rest of the sporting landscape. They are no longer a protected species. All the other ladies sports will be applauding reality setting in.

No one accepted the thousands of rule changes: then it was promotion of gay marriage and the whole country spewed!
I would say they would be playing there for the next ten years to promote LGBTQI stuff!Terry wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 8:03 pmGeez pal your cognitive function is parked in neutral lately. There is no corellation between a new comp and a new stadium. The fact is the standard of play of the AFLW is so atrocious the ratings have collapsed - fact.NlolRL wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2018 7:11 pm
Apples v apples? 2nd season vs first ever? That isnt even close to apples v apples
You flogs carried on about how the Perth crowd was inflated by a novelty factor around the the new stadium. Nekminit the first season ever has no novelty factor
Give up Terry, you're looking far more desperate than normal
The stadium in Perth is a whole new story. It's brand new, nothing else is happening over there, I mean Perth is like a big town in the middle of the desert. The poor buggers just went there to check out their shiny new toy. Simple as that.
Next year they won't even play there.
Rugby is all defence: if you aren't good at defence by the time you get paid for it then why would you bother lifting all those weights as a child gangster pretending you could protect your bosses drug turf? UM: BECAUSE YOU GOT PAID FOR IT AND FIGURED OUT THAT ONE PLUS ONE EQUALS SMASH AND GRAB CASHAFLcrap1 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 17, 2018 10:36 pmLol
Low scoring is from tough defence
Not because they are too unco or don't know the game cause they were poached from another sport by the afl .
There's a massive difference in brilliant defence & total inability to pick up a ball or kick it straight .
I'll give you one unco point for trying
