Which State Aussie Rules League is most popular after AFL?

Doesnt matter what the result is, WA is still strong..

mine you, I remember a time when NSW defeated the Vics and then the Vics when on and demolished us...

Actually it does matter, Lisa - certainly that sort of margin matters!

I'll always go back to the stark difference between two games I saw one week to the next back in 2002.

First week - Claremont v Peel (WAFL): not a good standard at all
Second week - Norwood v Port Magpies (SANFL): much better standard

OK, two games like that don't make an argument by itself, but you combine that with the weekend result between the WAFL and the VFL and it tells a much more powerful story.

Ok, I concede the point. But I had to defend WA as they are my home state.

I guess the beauty of footy is that no matter where you go, you are bound to see strengths in what ever league.

I know that WAFL and SANFL have had great rivalries in the past and will continue to do so..which is for the betterment of the game.
