Yes a change is on the cards. I, for one, am disillusioned with both parties being a traditional labour man. I’ll have labour ahead of the liberals .... problem is these popularity parties like one nation and Clive are not the answer.

Similar coming from unionised coal mines have always been a labour voter, but recent years they have swung to far to the left and lost their foundations!the problems have been siding to close with the greens

Well fuck me .
A sensible post I whole heartedly agree with .
Well done .
Awhile ago For 10 years I was a union boss .
Always a Labor man .
But the labor party of today is nothing like it was 20 years ago .
They have forgotten the ordinary Aust & chased the minority vote .
Siding with the nutjob Greens who themselves are so close to being Communist it's not funny .

Go back to your roots .
Go back to what Labor once stood for .

Sadly I can't see it happening...too many lefties in the ranks now .

& no I didn't vote Libs .....they are in my eyes just the lesser of two evils .
My one wish was that the Greens would be decimated ...calling them nutjobs is the kindest thing you can say .

It may have been time for a change of government but who in the hell would trust that job to a labour government?

I used to be a labour man. But not any more. They are just a Greens party these days.
I agree with funding hospitals and medicare in labour and looking after the sick and elderly, working class etc.

But to me this whole climate change thing is one big scam. They can't even predict the weather properly for next week.

They were saying sea levels will rise metres after the year 2000 when I was back in school. Never happened. They said it will be too hot to go outside. Never happened.

That is what lost them the election. People are sick of power prices and fuel prices and everything else going up to cover green energy subsidies.
It has basically screwed the manufacturing industry here because of electricity costs these days.

QLD & NSW won Liberal the election.

I agree that climate warming is real, i dont think the cause is clear though
It's simple
It's nature
Weather cycles
there's 10-20 year cycles inside 150 yr cycles inside 1000 yr cycles etc etc .
The Earth has been warming up ...cooling down for billions of years .
Nothing we do will change that ....well short of a Nuclear Holacaust.
Even then the Earths weather will still go on in cycles .
It's bullshit to me climate change .
People should be more worried about river & ocean pollution .

Exactly mate, is all massive hysteria over nothing. The climate will always change cyclical.
It honestly makes laugh how people fall for this hook line and sinker. Is like the y2k bug. Remember all the bull about all electronics that will stop working after nye 1999 lol.. Never happened either
