So which was Australia's most watched Grand Final? Anyone have the stats - would be interesting to know. Also how Lions went in Brisbane on TV (and devices I guess).

The AFL got the best ratings, the best Grand final entertainment and the biggest crowd. Yes AFL wins!

It was very close in Australia. Fumbling 3.75m v NRL 3.52m. When the NZ numbers are known the NRL will have a big victory. And before the feeble fumble fans here have their usual dummy spit about NZ ratings - the NRL has a team in NZ. It is 100% applicable to add NZ numbers in for the NRL competition.

Now cue the fumblers going off like 2 year old squealing babies whose mamma's have just thrown their lollypop outta the cot lololololololol!!!!! Prove me wrong fumblers.

Seems pretty close in the battle of rating here in Australia - with AFL having a narrow win by a few hundred thousand or so Many people would have watched both I am sure. Both great games.

And if we want to know who won the battle of Oceania we can add in NZ numbers and possible South Pacific - where there is a strong following of NRL (having spent some time in Aitutaki and Rarotonga I can vouch for this) may even be more even.

In all, a great weekend of sport with something for everyone - got to love a close game no matter the sport. As a Pies supporter it was magic indeed.
