Dave, can you find a Thursday or Friday night game where the NRL in Melbourne, Adelaide or Perth has rated higher than the AFL in Sydney or Brisbane when a home team was not playingbaselinepanther wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 5:36 pmPL is completely rightFred wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 2:33 pm https://www.theaustralian.com.au/sport/ ... 82a29c225a

Wouldn’t it be our national sport based on 1. It’s Australia’s own game and 2. It’s played nationally right across the national in large numbers like soccer but unlike Rl or RU. I think those two factors combined make it nationa and ours. I ageee he should have said Australian Rules and not AFL
Anyway.. opinions are like aresholes... everyone has one.

AFL is FAR more national than the NRL Dave.

The funny part LOL, is you people actually think that phrase means something . Rugby League controls much of the East Coast which where everything happens. An our outlook internationally is looking very bright (ie. people who live on the other side of the water. And I'm not talking about the Murray River). Even so we are still the most popular sport in the country. With millions of viewers, sell out audiences for Perth and similar Melbourne & Adelaide.NlolRL wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:43 am Last night's ratings:

Fucking hell your "National Rugby League" generally rates less than the AFL does in Sydney across three fucking states. Not that being a national sport has everything to do with fucking tv coverage.baselinepanther wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 5:31 pmhow bout you fuck offThe_Wookie wrote: ↑Fri Mar 26, 2021 10:19 am oh fuck off. RL fans aren't the clowns claiming to be followers of our national sport are they ?
unlike many fumblers who have the audacity & arrogance to think theirs is lol
what these delusional half wits fail to see is my point here
would the EPL be on a secondary channel in London
the NFL or baseball ... in New York
no , never
they are true national sports
unlike the fumbles & bumbles
popular in only half of our nation
national sport ?

they still live in Sydney Dave. They still count as people from Sydney. They still make AFL more popular in Sydney than NRL in Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth put togetherbaselinepanther wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:58 am29K ex pats from fumbler statesNlolRL wrote: ↑Sat Mar 27, 2021 10:43 am Last night's ratings:
