Lol this thread will haunt Bea till he locks it

3 games this week so far .
3 close tight games

2 afl games 1 draw..lol
1 smashing ...by ten big sticks & one feeble .
& that's with shorter quarters .
Lol
RL teams took a few games to get used to the change in rules ..the quicker game .
& there will still be smashings .
Happens in every sport .
I will just highlight Beas stupidity when he goes MIA about the lopsided games in fumbleball.

Heard one of the commontaters say today the Swans Mess was one of the lowest scoring Mess's in AFL History.

Ok pal. Yep, last night we had two blowout score lines. Being a Tigers supporter I loved the 2nd game though. tThe only problem being it lead to a little too much red vino in celebration lolololololol!!!!!!

Some blowouts are the result of the new rules Peter The Great bought in. I would rather have a few of 'em that way than boring low scoring fumbleathons..............know what I mean pal lolololol???????

AFL people also got to understand Rugby league have games where 1 team
will be held to zero or may only score once..

Imagen what that does to Tv Ratings.

Especially the Broncos who are falling off a cliff..

(put it into perspective) imagen watching an AFL game and the scoreline is 78 - 9

(expect half the board and coach to be kicked before seasons end)
#BrisbaneBroncos.

I certainly understand that there are some very low and lopsided scores in RL, it is a game built on defence. Until recent tactics the modern game of Australian Rules was built on attack. What I do find difficult to understand is the criticism of low AFL scores by several of your NRL chumps When NRL scores are always proportionally Lower. These, just because I don’t like it, therefore I’m right Arguments are not something that, IMO, would attract logical argument or new participants. More of a bitchy club than a fight club.

it is a game built on Defence, just like many sports are.
i myself have no issues with low scoring games, depending if they are attacking but good defence stops them.

coaching is what kills it, when they focus on Defence but there attack is very weak.
this creates a very non creative game.

What a truely lopsided mess the NRloL had become this season.
And need you look further than the ladder.

As it stands 6.5 games stand between 1st and 12th.
It's 2 in the AFL.

And the NRloL's 12th being 3 games and % out of the eight.
The AFL's 12th being 1 game and % out of 3rd

But if that doesn't drop your jaw, the gulf between scoring ability of the good and the bad will.

The good, more than doubling their opponents score on average this season, running at 208%

The bad, on average only manage to achieve 72.5% of their opponents score.

The AFL's top scorers are at 137% with 12th running at 100% on season average.

I've found myself resorting to the highlights when I learn the Storm match was a non contest.

Push ahead Pete has an escalating crisis on his hands as people tune out in droves.

Our sport will never be more lopsided than AFL.
Teams can win by over 100 points in AFL scorelines unheard of in the NRL.

Hence why another reason AFL is not a real football code.

Titans only lost 12-18 against premiership favourites the Roosters this week and they are near the bottom of the table.

rarely, maybe never, see a team not score though - I think the Storm went scoreless in a grand final against Manly - that's a joke surely.

RL is not football - as using the foot to kick the ball (hence the name foot ball) is not fundamental to the game. Real footy requires the foot kicking the ball to be fundamental.

many codes can cause a lockout on the opponent from scoring.

NFL
HOCKEY ICE AND FIELD
BASBEALL
SOCCER
RUGBY / UNION AND LEAGUE

just to name a few.

why it does not do good for tv ratings.
it happens in alot in other sports.
