CS
If you could only see the sub forum that existed on BF when the sokka WC was mentioned a few years ago
The hate ..the pure hatred caused a major meltdown over there . IIRC 1000s &1000s of hate filled posts
& im no sokka fan ..but there was very little animosity shown by RL fans .
So yeh the afl bubble dwellers are not the easy going types that you lot make out .

I noticed the AFL have reduced the quarters by 4mins each
total of 16mins per game

What kind of effect will this have on Advertising..
What was the rationale for shortening the quarters ???

In case AFL has to play more games back to back because of Virus gets worse.

so Player Fatigue.
I am pretty sure this is the reason.

I turned over last night after getting home from work - and agree - there was not too much difference to the NRL experience re: crowd noise and visuals. I also briefly flicked on the AFL and whilst the crowd visuals did not impact too much the atmosphere was totally different. I think the crowd noise and the atmosphere it creates is a major factor in my viewing and watching pleasure - adds something major to the feel of the game when 50000 people roar and celebrate.

There is a huge difference with every sport when a crowd is not present.
One reason I like going to Brookvale so much.

I will be even more likely to fall asleep if I ever watched AFL with no crowd.
Can't change are shit boring game that can't even grow out of 1 country. Is dull with or without a crowd.
