if people actually turned up to league games there would be far more of this at their games, instead of a bunch of virgins dosed up on their meds and under the watch of their special needs nurses!

Seriously ... agree that you get a large cross section of society in an afl crowd as there hasn’t been the history of different games like there has been with the rugbies ... which is defined as upper class Union and Lower working class league. A league supporter calling afl crowds as bogans reeks of projection or at least wanting to deflect the usual criticism rl folk get onto the afl. Nice try. No afl has a broad cross section of society as it’s really the only game to follow outside nsw and qld. This whole class divide re sport really does seem to be a Sydney thing that likely harks back to the divide between rl and ru. In afl it is more between the clubs ... collingwood feral bogans .... Carlton silver tails. Cheersquads ... just a weird collection of societies misfits.
