Re: Soo revival .....
Have never been really interested in these silly Victoria vs Allies or All Stars concepts.
"One in every 24 Australians is now a member of an AFL club, a sign that the national reach of Australian football has never been greater," League CEO Gillon McLachlan said.

Re: Soo revival .....
Why don't they just split Australia in 2 and have Eastern States vs Western States.
Call it East vs West
QLD NSW TAS VIC vs SA, WA NT
Only way it can really be done.

Never realised quite how much hate there was for AFL from our Northern friends.

Re: Soo revival .....
Great that the AFL are resurrecting State of Origin, players are all behind this match for a worthy cause so hopefully intensity won't be too subdued.
Looking forward to this event.
All-stars victory.
East vs West concept good, and it's great that some NRL posters are finally showing some positive interest in AFL, keep the ideas flowing.

What areas would you consider North v South? Vic/Sa/Tas v rest?leeroy*NRL* wrote: ↑Mon Jan 20, 2020 1:56 pm yeah that is a great idea, straight out of the U.S of A

Would have to be East v West, better spread and WA and SA particularly don't like like Vic so would be the key to any potential rivalry.
Genuinely never considered it, great idea.

Re: Soo revival .....
Personally I like the nrl idea of taking games to the affected (Terry) communities .... putting money directly into the hands of local businesses and supporting jobs etc. I don’t give to charities as a rule but will make a point of hitting some towns for a stay and splashing some cash where I can.
