Gatorade ends lucrative partnership with AFL | 7NEWS.com.au
21 Nov 2019 · Gatorade has cut short its deal with the AFL one year early. ... wanted to retain the AFL agreement but are investing less in sponsorship arrangements because sports drink sales are falling.
And? The decision was still done by hq in the USA. A basic cost cutting exercise and I’m sure it will apply to other spots as well around the world!

The afl still dwarfs anything the nrlol gets in sponsorship

You're sure of nothing .
There is no news of any other sport being cut .
Especially a year before the deal runs out .

Thems th facts .
You can't seem to understand that.

I agree, but you seem selective with what you want to accept as a fact. It is also a fact that they cited the reason for this as low sales and cost cutting ... but you want to refute that.

Stick to the topic .
Hilarious that you continue to ignore the only sport cut & they bailed a year early..
Lol my guess would be they wouldn't want to be associated with a sport full of racism & crowd violence .
Lol can't blame them .

But that’s not what they said ... but you choose not to believe this and instead go to some fantasy world. If they were wanting to distance themselves for the reasons you say then it would be in their interest to do so wouldn’t it?

See that bolded bit .
Lol there's nothing I can find that says that is remotley true .
The only sport cut that I can find is the afl .
So your pathetic ramblings are just that pathetic .
Now if it's the only sport then the question is why
.
The other question is why they suddenly cut the sponsorship a year early .
See what fairytale you can come up with .

Lol,
It's hilarious .
A thread that Is negative towards afl on a fight club forum & the fumblers get the shits & rant off topic .
We are here to discuss why Gatorade pulled out of sponsorship & a year early yet all we get is crap & off topic rants .
So any fumbler out there is it posssible to show where sponsorship was cut to another sport .
It would help your side of things . Would help with discussions
& please stay on topic in future .

Firstly. Merry christmas to you Terry and to you too Crapper and may the new year be prosperous for you both. for me- hopefully my spelling improves :)

Now Crapper, no one is cracking the shits at the negative article - people have answered or chose not to answer and you have put forth your theories as to why despite there being an actual statement from the company stating why. You choose to believe the AFL have conspired to get the company to write something more favourable - which is fine - believe what you like. The issue has been done - yet you keep flogging a dead horse - that is the issue. That is mainly always the issue with your posting - you just bang on and on and on - not knowing when to move on. I understand these finer social mores are not always easily understood and some leeway is given - but it does become tiresome.

So to hopefully put this to bed: They may have withdrawn their sponsorship because they didn't see bang for their buck - which is basically what they said. 2. If they wanted to distance themselves from AFL for whatever unsavoury reason (racism, violence ... whatever) and make a stand - then the strongest way to make that stand is to publicly state this - We are withdrawing the sponsorship as we do not want our product associated with .......... This is a strong statement for a company /brand to make and lets those they are trying to give this message to know exactly where they stand. This is a common thing to do also. We see many contracts and sponsorships withdrawn this way. 3. Why no one else - I don't know - we can only speculate which you are free to do - but continuing to ask others to do so - over and over and over - gets tiresome. No one really cares - I am sorry but you seem to care far more than others do - I mean you researched this. I think you may have even written to gatorade - Am I right? I bet I am.

Anyway - hopefully this puts a full stop on this thread. In short -we don't know - this is a statement - you can speculate - but stop getting all upset when no one else wishes to do the same. It's really not that big a deal. I know, I know - it is for you - it's your thing - your "obsession" if you like - but trust me there's a big world out there - lucky I'm bored at work and filling time - so happy to participate for now. But tonight, move away from the computer - out of the Den/office - or wherever you keep your anti-afl records and data - and crack a cold one. Better still, have a nice Whiskey.

On Whiskey - Terry - got a bottle of Laphroaig Whiskey - being an old publican what other Whiskey's are similar to this - I quite like the peaty smokey flavour and this is a treat. Others like it would be good to try.
