First time winner will come from south of Sydney with Griffith vs South Coast in final.
Griffith? Wow! I think Andrew Fifita was playing for them.

Griffith Three Ways beat Waterloo featuring Addo-Carr.
In addition to Griffith, Dindima made semis & Narrandera lost in quarters. All three teams from other side of Beetson line.

Actually 19% according to the NRL Annual Report
https://www.nrl.com/siteassets/document ... ort_hr.pdf

The only question I have is whether thats rugby league participation or touch/league inclusive. A 19% of rugby league particpation is less than 40,000 people. (based on registered league participants in 2017 of 170,000, plus growth of 3.9% in 2018).

That said the AFL doesnt give a percentage, just a raw number of 98,446
If that number is taken as a percentage of total participation then its 6%.
Indigenous population of Australia is 798,000 - the majority of which live in NSW & qld. If anglofl figure of 98,000 players is correct that means maybe 25% or more of all first Australians in other states are registered participants. This is why nobody believes anglofl numbers.

So have the nrlol!
Then if you look at the data from the abs, erass, clearing house of sport, roy Morgan etc

Government and privately collected stats shows afl clearly ahead and the nrlols numbers to be tota BS

Nope
Both codes release participant numbers .
You don't like them because there's very little difference .
Lol can you show where the NRL lied to a senate committee .
Can you show where the NRL claimed 30 k players in another country ..real number 2-3 k
Can you show where an independent report highlighted how they lie about numbers .
Off ya go VI

You claim the afl ones are bs
I claim the nrlol ones are bs

Look at all the 3rd party stats collects
Abs
Erass
Clearing house of sport
Roy Morgan

All show afl decades ahead!

Of course you don’t like that so you cling on to the bs nrlol stats

Look at the comment trend of all the data collects and go with that

According to official anglofl figures over 12% of indigenous people in Australia are registered players - figures are nonsense.
