Oh man! I hope this goes ahead! They even mentioned potentially taking that fantastic by product aflx over there! :lol: ... I can see the circus freaks warming up already :lol:

But to be honest tho my prediction is they’ll get a better showing in America than in China. The outcome in terms of complete lack of local American interest after the event will be the same as China and NZ but I think the Americans might turn up in half decent numbers for the novelty factor. But... I just can’t see the Afl not making an utter fool of itself over there tho, people will buy tiks with some interest and likely leave the field laughing at the game and the pathetic entertainment such as circus clowns and the like that the Afl will put on for them.
It’ll be cringe to the MAX. Mark my words!! :D:
Make it happen gws! Can’t wait! :lol:

AngloFL people never learn;
In 2004 South Africa was going to be biggest overseas nation - that never happen

After taking club games to NZ fans speculated about a Wellington franchise - few years on annual NZ game has been dropped.

Supposed growth in USA with even Waleed Aly saying in 2016 that test match for women soon to come - of course that never happened. Locals take below;

Lol it's the gift that keeps on giving
Afl international games .
If this goes ahead & inevitably fails like its predecessors where will the next dart land on the world map ( thrown by a blindfolded Gilty )

You can’t accuse the afl of not giving things a go and bring risk adverse. I know many an nrl folk that criticise the nrl admin for never taking a risk or having a go. Such as expansion. The nrl aren’t no where near as big as the afl and thus no where near the revenue so it is harder for them to do so and risk has to be low I know, but reckon they should have expanded with a team in Perth years ago .. and Brisbane. In saying that afl have had there shockers ... such as those listed above and let’s not forget the universally despised aflx. But you never know until you try I guess. Somethings do pay off .

Really when you think about it league has been a bigger failure over seas!

It’s a simplified game for the more limited people of union! A popular European game that has been around for centuries, take the millions of settlers who hare now scattered all across the world and the several of professional rugby union league as well would surly have an interest or know of league

Compared to a game from Australia, aside from the expats to promote the game it would only have had a few decades to promote it self on the world stage.

So if afls attempt as international expansion has been a failure. Rugby leagues attempts and but but excuses are total failure tenfold on another level

It’s next to Being a direct rip off 🚽
Of a popular European game that has been around for centuries
Go and brush up on some basic history
Europe and the settlers over the years
The internet and digital age
Some basic geography

Pointing out basic facts is not a rant!
The endless threads about the afl trying to overtake the world reeks of insecurity from the league lot

Well there's a way to stop the endless threads about AFL trying to overtake the world. Stop fumblehouse, Gilty, Kochie & numerous AFl journos from talking & writing about it year on year.

Simple stuff.

You'd be surprised how many fans want exactly that Terry

Never realised quite how much hate there was for AFL from our Northern friends.
