We need to talk about the ... afl’s commentators

Basically it’s :puke: just :puke:

I’ve been a long time viewer of Afl and I gotta say the commentary is getting worse and worse. I mean some of it is fine but there’s also something very very off about the way the tools talk up the game. It’s, well a lot of it is really fake. There’s been so many times a player does something which is basic and/or pretty ho hum and the commentators basically have an orgasm blurting out how good it was.

And then last night during the swans game they vommit fake spewy shit like “and the swans have allirr allirrr from Sudan and also an Irish player in oriordan. It’s just a wondeferful multicyltural game we have...” :blahblah: :puke: I mean perhaps in the early 1900s if you had an African playing you could call ur team multicultural but by today’s standards on the concept that comment was ... well just wrong and fake. Bullshit basically.

It’s just fukkin sickening and fake. I would like to know what kind of ... ‘direction’ these commentators are getting from Afl hq :|

Meanwhile nrl commentators talk up the game but they do it in a way that is realistic not fake. It’s a much better listening experience when viewing nrl.

RL the commentators screams at the top of their lung, louder and louder every step a player manages to run when the ball is under his arm! when the player managed to achieve that skilled feat of run 10 or so meters then tackled! then his puppets next to him all agree with each other what a remarkable effort it was due to the skill and precession that was involved!

You don’t sound like you do but you’re commenting as though you watch the game on tv. Do you?

I watch the game and have played dear cats. Just because you don’t understand when a game is in the balance and when it is not doesn’t mean you have to be bitter.

But it does make me wonder. Have you ever played? You don’t sound like you have :)

I don't believe I'm bitter at all, quite the opposite - I enjoy watching you make a fool of yourself.

Yes I have played, but not since 18's.

I was very, very good.

I see. You never played as a man.

So what do you think about the commentators dear cats?

I mean seriously, how disrespectful are the dickhead afl commentators!

A guy says “my name is pronounced this way”

Afl commentator says “that’s not how I say it I’m not gunna change”

https://www.smh.com.au/lifestyle/life-a ... 51mj7.html

I wasn’t sure to put this article in one of the racism threads as well, I’m not surprised this article refers to casual racism

Will the commentator be sacked for such unprofessionalism?

[-X

So ahhh I’m guessing you’re not in a high paid professional job then nlol? Cos you appear as though you don’t respect professional standards or ethics.

Maybe you should try learn some for a change? It might bode you well in the future :)

Look, just because I’ve found out another very prominent personality in ur preferred code stinks like a piece of shit doesn’t mean you have to go into deflect mode dear nlol. Ok buddy? :)

So let’s keep this debate on topic. I’m gathering you think a commentator deliberately offending a player is something that needn’t be worried about?
