But "So far" only goes So far crap.
As you know the law of averages will produce the reality of it all in time.
And these first games will only be a blip in the sum.

But, lucky for you i've got a fantastic visual representation of the new stadiums performance and a reliable source for the data, so it should be able to be kept current for you.

A great example of friendly cross code support....

No one can predict the future . We can only guess .
All we have now is the current situation .
Which is 70% better than the previous stadium .
You lot have a lot of trouble accepting that

Yes but there are confounds in the data that should be considered. As with the reporting of all “means” the Standatd Deviation also needs to be reported. This gives an indicator of the spread or variance. I would imagine a large SD however as more games are played this would likely reduce as attendances gather around the mean and outliers have less impact.

We all know after the novelty wear off like it’s doing already the average will continue to fall

I mean we only have 60 plus years of new or redevelopment of stadiums in the same location to go by

And old delusional 🚽 thinks that the average will stay the same or similar to numbers like never seen before

Just because a new venue had been built and the crowds are up for this reason of a nice shiney venue, your warped little world you ignore all the past 60 plus years of past history

Talk about being selective

It sure is and the new stadium is built on the same location as the past stadiums that the Parra poke club has played at!

We are speaking about crowd averages and you seem to have it in your little fantasy world that they will remain near similar to what they are already

And not go any where near the all time average at the same location of 11840k

Oh dear . Can someone help him .
He is just too stupid .
Yes we are talking about crowd averages ....at BW
Stick to the topic .you failed ( should be your middle name ) to grasp the car & garage analogy so I'll try again .
You own a block of land with a run down house that's over 30 yrs old in need of renovations you think about selling it ..put it up for sale ..not much interest .
You knock it down & build a brand new modern larger house & put it up for sale .
Then put it up for sale .
Heaps of interest . Why because it's not out of date ..it's modern
People don't go there & say oh there was an old house here that was worth 400k so I'm not gunna buy this one @650k because there was an old one here previously .

It won't help because you are too stupid to comprehend anything normal .

We are talking about a stadium
A new shiney one in the same location a thing that has been done several times before with new stadiums or developments with the same shitty team playing the same shitty football code!

After 7 games the average is double the pervious 60 years of several hundred games played
Yet the average is slowly falling that you magically will stay up there as nearly double :(/

It’s the same turd of a code playing at the game that has only been polished by a new venue!
The average will only continue to do as the Coles commercial advertisers
Down down down

This post started as a comment on the New Stadium and would it increase football attendance over the over the old one and not just Parramatta in isolation.

There are several elements to this.
1. 3 codes of football are played there.
2. At least 5 teams will play home games there.

At the moment the major discussion is around Parramattas attendance which is only a part of the stadium picture.

I do not believe a realistic stadium figure will be achieved until the Sydney stadium situation is finalised, which will certainly take longer than expected. So that is years off.

Much will also depend on how the Wanderers fans accept Bankwest.

Rugby Union has the potential to drag the average down as does both Canterbury and Wests.

Parramatta has surpassed its historical average and I think they would be quite pleased with the results, however there are warnings signs there, but it may take some time, a couple of years, to get a realistic picture of whether they will go back to the bad old days, much will depend on performance.

So, how do we determine if it’s a success?

I suppose if it maintains a 20% increase over historical average is an arbitrary, but not unreasonable gauge.

And I think it should be based on, per year, in order,

1. Stadium average
2. Code average
3. Team average

But as I said above, it’s going to be a while before it settles down.

And it is possible that it could be an improvement for one team but overall be a disappointment.
