The cashed up gws Giants, the team the Afl is so desperate to succeed handed out an absolute slogging to the weary, drug ridden bodies of the Essendon club.

Gdubbya 112 - essingbong 40   what a snore fest, the game was over before half time. What a waste of the price of admission but atleast for gdubbya’s committed poultry 2000-3000 regular attendees woulda been happy

And then we had the freo dockers vs north melbs. Racists a plenty woulda packed the stadium in wa and they woulda been pleased no one like Adam Goodes was running round on Aboriginal Land out there. And the brain dead morons also woulda been pleased with the result albeit a game that was done and dusted 10mins into the second quarter 8-[ the end result?

Fremantle 141 - north melbs 59

Hey Wookie ... “who the fuck do you think you are”?

Anyway wookies recent abuse of me for raising this reality aside ... Has anyone else got that song in their head that hs the lyrics ‘Two outta three ain’t bad’... well in this case it’s yes, yes it is bad that two out of three Of the afls Sunday games were absolute sloggings 8-[ 8-[

Sounds like there is a major player depth problem in AFL with scorelines like that.

Can you imagine if they had 19 times with Tasmania. They already have major issues with an uneven comp now. And no other nation to get players from.

You’re spot on there nrl. This massive blow out issue in Afl games began with their cruddy expansion. It was done so poorly that it basically was bound to fail and now the results are starting to show in waning tv viewers, as Wookie showed us in the op of his ‘state of the game’ thread (tho don’t let him know about it... he really doesn’t want to hear about it and he’ll delete posts which bring it up).

Basically the Afl could do much better. Half the reason the swans have become established is because they were south melb and relocated. West Sydney doesn’t have anywhere near the Chardonnay sippers of eastern Sydney where the Swans are based so gdubbya will not have any chance of becoming a successful venture in the next hundred years or so. So basically the Afl needs to delete gdubbya and the Gold Coast and one melbourne club as well and then have either essingbong (their reputation is now smashed and they need a change) or perennial tanksters Melbs or some other melb club with a dodgy rep like st kilda or, well they’re alloretty dodge really so some other melb club relocate to tas.

Only then Will the Afl have a comp which doesn’t suffer from numerous massive blowouts each and every weekend.

Its the nature of the sport. Many predicted the bombers would be top 6 material this year so its not like they are easy beats, they just had a shocker.

Freo have been bog average recently so their reault was also a suprise.

The large defeats will probably be more common this year with rule changes allowing sides to get on a roll more easily. AFL has been like that forever, i remember the swans regularly winning games by 200 points in the 80's. It seems to trigger you clowns who cant fathom high scoring in sport, but for us its all part of the game

Thanks beaussie but to me it looks as tho you’re having another massive premiere ejaculation here. Just show some bloody control! You’re giving me round one stats?? Trust me KIng-Eliagh predicts many many more sunday arvo sloggings, and, as they occur, the small % of Afl fans with brains will drop off. Mark my words :salute:

Here’s wookies more valid comprehensive and comparable research covering 25 rounds of 2018
Fairfax reported at the end of round 25, that television ratings for the NRL season had eclipsed the AFL’s audiences for the first time since 2010, reflecting the closeness of games in the rugby league competition compared to AFL .

7 of 9 AFL games this round were decided by less than 3 goals.

Both game today were decided by less than a goal.

No team is undefeated after 4 rounds.

The SUns, Lions and Dockers are in the top 8.

Please discuss KE

Fantastic round to be a supporter. Well, not a Cats supporter - but a bunch of gripping contests this week.
Never realised quite how much hate there was for AFL from our Northern friends.

LOL

Carlton upset the Bulldogs. Another very unpredictable AFL round.

We get it, NRL fans arent accustomed to high scoring. Suppose most NRL fans cant count above 50
