You AFL fans should try watching a team like Manchester City. All the goals are scored with skill.
AFL rewards 1 point for a miss or hitting the post. Soccer rewards 1 point with a goal keeper and a crossbar. You see the difference in skills??
AFL goals are like riding a bike with training wheels. Simply made, and as easy as possible.
In Basketball you get 2 points for placing the ball in a hole. In RL you get 4 points for falling over. In Gridiron you get points for walking into an area. In cricket you can score without even hitting the ball.
The method or ease of scoring isnt the point, doing it more often than your opponent is. It's a very easy concept to grasp yet you really seem to struggle with it
which is the advantage of a higher scoring game. You get to enjoy your team scoring more often.
How fun it must be to watch your team play RL and only score once or twice in 80 minutes. No wonder the crowds are so poor
