Come on beatup.......you're starting to sound like Chemical Ali lol.”

Your photo is not of Chemical Ali, but Baghdad Bob, sometimes referred to as Comical Ali.

So there have it!!!!!! Good 'ol Terry wrong again....as usual lololololololol!!!!!!! All corrections will be accepted in his usual humble manner lolololololol!!!!!
Thank you Quolls. You are in fact correct. The photo is of Muhammad Saeed al Sahhaf AKA Baghdad Bob and Comical Ali.

The person known as 'Chemical Ali' is in fact Ali Hassan al-Majid former Director of Iraqi Intelligence & first cousin of Saddam Hussein. Apologies for any confusion and good pick up pal.

This does not however refute the substantive point. The BBL & Sydney Thunder are calling their home ground Sydney Showground.

And if you go to NSW transport and plan to get to the game tomorrow you will find there is no find for a place called Giants Stadium. You do however get a location known as Sydney Showground Sydney Olympic Park. I'm pretty sure that's where the game will be.

Hope that helps. And keep morale high!!!

It's a good marketing ploy to name a stadium after the team, however I have reserveations regarding the Giant emblem, it doesn't quite work, too manufactured, too American, it's holding the club back.
An authentic moniker based on Sydney culture, flora or fauna would see the club rise to the next level in popularity.

adding my 2 cents worth..

I was in Sydney for a Thunder v Stars Match.. and there was no sign of Giants Name anywhere..
everywhere stated
Sydney Showground / Sydney Olympic Park.

( i think Giants Stadium is only for AFL games) so what is that 8 games a year.
