Yeah they have the population to do that. But it would be beneficial to the game as a whole.
I think there could be a time one day when you could have Americans playing in the NRL.
I can't see AFL ever gaining any traction there though. It has nothing Americans could relate too.

Most Aussies I know dont understand NFL rules. Most people from USA dont understand cricket and find it boring. What does that say about these sports?

I've heard Disney have more plans to bring other super heroes from their stable to Marvel stadium throughout the season.
I don't know who's idea it was (Disney or the AFL) but it's a marketing masterclass on display.
Phil Gould just doesn't stack up when on the other hand you've got Thor! Son of Odin!
