The latest ....which I have no problem with.....
It's only one poster who keeps ranting ...
Anything RL get is worth a meltdown ..anything AFl get is fine ..

This is just VIC ..doesn't count th 15 mill the lions just got for their training facilities .

So where are these stadiums that the afl clubs have had built for them at the expense of the tax payer!

I mean nearly all the nrlol clubs have had grounds build and maintained for them thanx to the tax payer!
The grounds sit empty most of the year and when the pathetic joke of an nrlol team plays there it is lucky to be half full!
Yet the clubs still want more funding to up grades them!
As their league club or wealthy owners aparently can’t find it feasible to dip in to their own pocket!

But but afl for money’s!

Essendon, Collingwood, Carlton, North Melbourne, Richmond, St Kilda, Brisbane, Fremantle, West Coast, GWS, Gold Coast, Western Bulldogs, Fremantle have all received significant millions in government funding for training facilities. Hawthorn are putting their hand up for more.
One off payments of a few millions after the clubs payed for bulk of the cost of the facility
lol thats not even close to true in most of these cases. Carlton, North, Brisbane, St Kilda, Fremantle, GWS, Gold Coast and the Bulldogs contributed very little compared to the government for their developments/proposed developments.
What has an nrl club ever paid for besides a gaming license and a leagues club!

If the afl had received any near the funding the nrl clubs had received at least some of the traditional club grounds would still been in use
Please point out all this funding.
The Whitten Oval and Optus oval would still be in use today if that was the case
bear in mind Carlton are slated to get 35 million this year from state/fed governments for Princes Park on top of 7 million granted alreaady in 2007.
One off grants only recently the clubs have received!
The Carlton grant of 35 million has not happened yet! So if that’s the best you can come up with of 50 plus years of tax payer hand outs to clubs!

I mean it’s not like the tax payer built and maintained the traditional club grounds for the afl clubs like it has done built, renovated and maintained for the nrlols clubs the last several decades at least

But but but like usual you have no come back
All this money going to all different sporting infrastructure! Some afl club have received one or so small payments for facilities and most clubs paid for the majority out of their own pocket!

Now tell me who paid for those nrlol club grounds
Who pays for the renovations
Who pays for those nrlol Center of excellences that several clubs are building

I can tell you it’s not the clubs or nrlol it’s self!

It’s the tax payer!
Yet all you cry about is but but afl got 15 million!

Your so fearfull of your little shit house code being over run by the afl!

Think I might have to self impose another exile from this forum, you are the biggest loon I have ever come across on the net. You are really not worth the time bothering with. Enjoy living your pathetic life through your freaking sport.

Deadset the biggest lying flog I have ever graced in any discussion forum. You have serious problems you are a nut case. One of the main reasons RL people have anything against your sport is the people like you, the sport seems to attract the worst of the pathological liars that wouldn't/couldn't post an ounce of truth about anything else to save their own lives if it entailed afl not being the winner in everything. What a glorious life you live.

Get absolutely stuffed, and I really mean it and I hope your club folds while you are alive to see it.

Edit, and it's not just the crap in this thread, reading about RL sides abusing children and kicking them off fields and all the other utter shit, you really are a poor human. I've read about your type before, the type that goes along with "good is bad and bad is good".

Absolute nutcase.

WA Government ramps up push for NRL side as National Rugby League eyes expansion

A team of sports administrators and a State Government minister are leading the charge for a third footy club in Perth — only this franchise will be competing in the National Rugby League.

And it might already exist.

Sport Minister Mick Murray told The Weekend West this week that a working group had been established to pitch WA’s case as the NRL eyes a possible expansion to the west ahead of the signing of a new broadcast agreement in 2023.

The revelation comes as a sold-out Optus Stadium prepares to host 60,000 rugby league fans when State of Origin comes to Perth for the first time on June 23.

I think it is a must. The NRL have been majorly risk adverse in the past re: expansion plus haven’t had the dollars which feeds into the level of risk assessment I guess. Should have been done years ago and supported by the nrl financially as much as was needed. The AFL has always tried things around expansion and growing the game, some good some poor (China/aflx) but at least they have a go. NRL needs to do this if it wants to grow and compete with the AFL nationally and financially.

RL has attempted WA expansion and failed miserably before. Anyone at the NRL noticed the weekly NRL tv ratings in Perth? Abysmal is the only way you could describe them. See for yourself this weekends figures in the lead up to SoO.

THURSDAY NIGHT NRL LIVE Nine 328,000 215,000 0 114,000 0 0
FRIDAY NIGHT NRL LIVE Channel 9 424,000 259,000 9,000 140,000 6,000 10,000

As they say... history repeating itself. :(/
