They must be self sufficient

We have been through this that many times! The majority of the nrlolol clubs are worthless pieces of crud! With little ability to raise funds other ways

Some of the other financial models is to have ve news Corp own a side like the broncos or minnowbourne storm whore the sides out to make em relevant, or like the titans or knights have wealthy owners pump money down the then! Ditch the club after working out it’s worthless then the nrlol needs to come in to save the club!
