I said they're too busy with their own agendas ..
Vlad & Gill big noting .
Look at us in NZ
We are going to China .blah blah .
Let's start a freak show .

Forget tas heartland ..forget clubs closing over there .
Economy and long term population growth is the main reason why Tasmania doesn’t have a side as oppose to Gold Coast and greater western sydney

I used the gws games as examples showing the tasmanian games have a large proportion of travelling fans, nothing more.

You cant claim Gws has failed until theyve had a sustained era of success and still have lower crowd averages than the local heartland clubs
And ur logic re low crowds for gws in Hobart is that it’s all Hobart attracting a large cohort of travelling rather than local fans?

Seriously. Have you ever stopped to consider that not many people support gws...period? They’re a shithouse fake expansion side that has failed to expand their crowds in 8 years. In a city of 2million plus they don’t even get the same home crowds as Hobart can pull to boring old north melb vs whoever.

Your logic is seriously flawed....as per usual.
fuck you're confused.

The games in Hobart are part made from locals, from supporters of North, and oppositions supporters. When the giants play the crowds are far lower because less fans travel. This also shows not many locals attend. That's the point. 200k is a very small population to attend a high attendance sport like the AFL

So therefore you presume the Tasmanian locals turn up to and value gws matches in the same numbers as they would for watching a Hawthorne? Stkilda? Swans? West coast? Etc except for Thuns  that would be a really dumb claim to make dude...but claim it you are! :\:

And you say I’m confused! :(/ fuck man, you know jack shit all about the afl and about crowds in particular. WHEN ARE YOU GUNNA GET IT THAT GWS DONT HAVE MANY FANS IN GWS ...AND ANYWHERE ELSE. they’re a mammothly failed expansion job. Comprehende?

Oh. My.youve gone full LIC

Your last argument was shown to be laughable so now you post more garbage .

Last time I looked .....these cities are in RL heartland states .....& guess what ....these states already have teams for their fans to get behind .

You keep firing blanks
I could rattle off regional cities in VIc ( Ballarat Bendigo blah blah) & Wa & ask for teams ...but I'm not as braindead as you .
The cities are in states that already have teams .

You get dumber & dumber trying to tow the afl line .

Which once again highlights you still don't get it .
TAS Dont have a team at ALL ..not one local team to follow .

I can't even give you one unco point for that last effort .
It missed all the unco sticks
TLPG 🤣liar extraordinaire

A different person posted the list of cities. I said Cairns which is fair enough given how far away it is from Townsville. Ballarat and Bendigo are a few hours from the centre of Melbourne and an hour from the fringe.

Show some data to suggest games involving GWS have fewer local fans as well as fewer travelling fans

We already have teams here .
What don't you fucking understand about that .
RL heartland has home teams ..yes cairns is in Qld .
No comparison whatsoever with a AFL HEARTLAND state that has NO teams

Cairns is a 4 hour drive from the nearest NRL club. They are nearly as isolated as Tasmania is from Victoria

Back on Tasmania, they've had a representative club in the VFL which is a far better standard than their local competition. That is a logical stepping stone to an AFL club.

There are multiple issues against an AFL club in Hobart, and no comparable example of another small city facing these challenges. Fremantle and Geelong are a short drive from major cities and their clubs have established clubs with their own fan base. Hobart is isolated and has no established fan base.

Nearly as,isolated...comedy genius at work
Oh dear . Dig deeper
Can you drive from Tas to Melb..I believe there's a bit of water between them
I know you can drive from cairns to Tville ..there's a highway .

& once again for the mentally impaired .....RL fans in Cairns have a choice of 3 home teams
3 QLD teams . 3 teams in their HOME state
Tas Aflol fans have none ......doesn't matter how close to Vic they are .
They don't have a HOME TEAM .

Jesus h fuck

it's a 4 hour drive, hence I said 'nearly'. Practically speaking Cairns is very isolated from Townsville for local games. In fact Tasmanian's have better access to home games if they support the roos or hawks

Yeah I'm sure Cairns people think the Titans or the Broncos represent them... Brisbane is about as far away from Cairns as Melbourne is

& once again .

Whoosh

It's tiresome having to explain real life

Have you ever heard about state pride....prob not ..
In QLD the Broncos & cowboys have huge support all across the state..
seeing as a lot of SOO players come from these teams then there is parochial support for any qld team .
Hence the support from Cairns or anywhere in QLD .
I know it's hard to understand that living in the afl insular bubble but that's called state pride .
& it doesn't matter how fucking far away from BRis theyare .
They're still in the same fucking state .
Poor Tas fans don't have this .
Whooosh again .
I'll wait for the idiotic reply .
