Prob can easily be fixed if they can find some players who aren't sooky little Nancy boys who can't let go of Mums hand .
Geez it's a hard life being 2 hrs flight away from mummy....& getting paid a few hundred K .
Technology has many ways of communicating these days ..but that's not the same as mummy looking after you .

I don't know of anyone who could tolerate such hardships .

Simple solution .

Send the team to TAS where it should have been in the first place
The only place on EARTH that wants a team &. They go & plonk 2 unwanted unasked for teams in other places .

the cannot see the AFL giving in on this team.. most codes would of gave up already..

the one thing keeping the Gold Coast Suns alive is the Away Supporters turning up
they are pretty much paying the bills.. them and the 25 million top up by the AFL

70% + Richmond Supporters. it is quite embarrassing...

I recan Tassie has the potential to have 25k plus crowds week in week out..
with big sponsorship backing.. they would truly be a success..

I wish they would pack it in on the Gold Coast. Place has no history, no culture, no sense of community. Can't even keep sides in sports actually played there.
Tried it, seemed worth it. Didn't work. AFL ballsed it up but at the same time I don't know if they could've done anything to make it work.

GC is a sporting club graveyard. It would be interesting to see if they could gain a following after sustained success, but their best players just arent staying there long enough to achieve it

Also Richmond had more than 70% of the fans in the stadium. I would say more like 90-95%.

That tells me a couple of things - Richmond of extremely popular & the Suns are a joke (just like the Titans) that not many people care about on the coast unless they are winning

While a lot of Kids/adults play footy on the coast (just look how big the Southport Sharks are) hardly anyone wants to follow the main teams there. Always has been like that always probably will be

Their crowds ( except for bronco games) are 90+ % Titans fans .
Even a braindead like you should be able to see the difference .

The "Tits" are broke, never win (like the suns) & have a smaller crowd average than the suns even though Gold Coast is supposed to be Rugby League heartland.

At least the AFL can afford to keep giving money to the suns to help them. Can the NRL do the same for the "Tits" as you call them (haha)

The Titans have been very average team.. in there 12 years at the NRL they have only had 1-2 good seasons
with poor form off the field and bad management for years.. with losing millions of money..

the NRL doesnt lose money on the Titans they owners of the team are losing the money.

remember the NRL is a level playing field.
unlike the AFL who hand out money to SUNS AND GWS for them to try and succeed.

But yes it has been like this for years regards to crowds at suns game..
always hoping for a good away turn out..
