Interesting fact.
Ever since it's inception the GWS has averaged higher attendances than any NRL club.

That's since inception everybody!!!!!!!
Not even the end of Jan and we already have a probable winner ( lol from an afl fan how unusual) for the biggest load of crap posted for the year .

Your words ring hallow if you don’t back them up AFLcrap. I know, no surprise, but of all people you would have some archive or data base to prove this wrong. If it wrong it’s wrong but please support your comments.

Can you support this with some figures? I know gws have played in some big games throughout the years but I think of the broncos and wonder how your comment could be true. Be interesting to see.

Freddy boy, sometimes things that are said are so idiotic, so patently wrong, so stupid no data or source is required to prove it.

He did say since inception. ... so I am thinking there is some quirky stat around it being from inception. And he never mentioned home games either. So I am thinking there is something in that also. So before spouting off I’d just make sure you read the post. But yes, I would like to see the figures before calling him out.

So If it is not the average since inception (so why mention it and emphasise it) not sure what you are getting out. Are you saying each yearly average, the mou (mean of means). .... are you using another measure of central tendency (mode, median) and not the mean .... explain.

Assume you are also including finals, gf ?

As a rule on here crowd averages are home crowd averages for the season excluding finals when assessing popularity .
Lol can't wait to see what obscure piece of crap he comes up with .
It'll be some shit like
GWS had a bigger crowd on GF day last year than any other NRL club on the same day ....

I agree, the inference re: gws and such has been home crowds .... but he didn’t say this in his claim. I agree the claim seems ludicrous and lacks face validity and there is likely to be a playing with statistics to support the ascertain ... as they say lies, lies, and damn statistics .... or something like that. Having done my share of research I know how things are played with such as removing outliers, limiting who and what are tested etc.... even playing with sample size up achieve statistical significance. I read recently that they no longer advocate the use of confidence levels such as p >.05
