In an off season that seemed like almost an incident a day involving every except experimenting with animals! (Yes that has happened multiple times)

Looks like the afl is in full catch up mode once the season kicked off

Sure, he made a distasteful gag, but where did Ed threaten to physically harm her?
It's hilarious the hypocrisy of RL fans. Wilson is a football columnist and gets a lot of club reps offside with her attacks on the game and the clubs. Like male journos who do a similar thing she cops some back the other way.
The NRL isnt immune to this either. You only need to look at some of the vile abuse hurled at NRL sports columnist Rebecca Wilson to see this. Here is one example of many threads about her:

Eddie's comments about the coin toss were not targeted at the lady, he specifically said all people who tossed the coin before the game. However, it was insensitive given the latest person was a double amputee. Even Caroline Wilson who hates Eddie said it was nothing more than a brain fade. He copped it on social media and rightly so, but lets not get carried away FFS
