Can you imagine how many misses they would have in AFL without the extra side goals.
They should show this to other codes players when they feel bad about missing a goal.

Education time for the fumbler .
It has to go OVER a crossbar .
You know at a height of approx 3 mtrs
No dribbling along the ground .
No points for missing the giant sticks .
Just a far more difficult scoring system .
It's like afl was made for the unco peopl who were too unco to excell at proper sports .
Sorry you missed the giant sticks with no crossbar to get over ...but you still get rewarded for TRYING .

Re: Youtubes AFL piss takes
it isnt more difficult when you can fall over a white line and score. Or when you get to kick a ball from basically point blank from goal, hit the post, and still score a goal.

Whoooosh
Simple science would tell those with an IQ above a house plant that getting a ball between two sticks is far easier when there is no 3 mt crossbar you must get the ball over .

Re: Youtubes AFL piss takes
speaking of low IQ.
You think players couldnt kick over a crossbar if they had to?
Kicking for goal is dead easy in RL. Always a short distance, no immediate pressure, simple

Re: Youtubes AFL piss takes
Let's not forget they require mechanical assistance to kick a goal.
Like allot of things in life, if it's too difficult just introduce mechanical assistance.
That little stand props the ball perfectly aligned, pitched at the correct angle so the kicker can step back a precise distance so he can kick it with some degree of accuracy under absolutely no pressure from a measly 10-30m out.
Conversely,
At full tilt, from 60m with an opponent got on your heels and others coming at you from all directions kick a drop punt far enough to clear the sweepers on the goal line that have the ability to defend the goals up to 3.5m.
One of these require immense skill, the other can be done by a blind person.

Re: Youtubes AFL piss takes
If kicking a goal is so easy in Rugby League. Why are so many more goals scored in AFL???
Ah lets see. Maybe because you have goals without crossbars and extra side goals incase you miss.
AFL is the easiest goal scoring game of any football code in the world. By a mile. This is why teams score over a hundred points

Yeah so much mechanical assistance kicking at a row of 3 goals without a crossbar.SportCapital wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 10:59 amLet's not forget they require mechanical assistance to kick a goal.

So many more goals are scored in the AFL because the game is fast, more free flowing, goes for longer, and allows far more scoring opportunities. As far as thw difficulty of scoring goes, conversions are under no time pressure and are from a very short distance. Easy peasyNRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 11:26 am

To put it simply (as you leaguers prefer it), most of our players have the skill.NRL&NFLweLaughATafl wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 11:26 am

Where in the National Flogby League there is one maybe two players with the ability to kick what is comparatively a very easy kick.
And how funny is it when another player attempts to kick it.
They truely look like a ******** blind person and are ridiculed from the commentary and told to leave it to the kicker.

Conversion kicks are timed in NRL so that blows your arguement out of the water.NlolRL wrote: ↑Sun Apr 29, 2018 11:46 amSo many more goals are scored in the AFL because the game is fast, more free flowing, goes for longer, and allows far more scoring opportunities. Which ever way you put it. AFL goals are much easy to kick than NRL goals.
You have 3 goals and no crossbars.. How can you not see that lol..
Simple maths, the bigger the goal area, the easier to score. This is why your players score so much.
If NRL had goals like the AFL, the scores would definitely be way higher.
But you see our sport likes to give players an actual challenge to score unlike yours
AFL the easiest football code to score points in the entire world.
Nothing you say will change that fact. Get your head out of the sand.
