Will the 2017 Rugby League World Cup finals be as lopsided as the 2017 afl finals
Sheesh, that match last night was possibly more boring than the afl grand final!
Disappointing to see samoas weak showing and quite boring even though I was going for the Aussies.
But whilst i prophesised veryearlyon how dreadfully boring the afl 2017 finals series matches would be, I have more faith in the rlwc. Funny because the rlwc is notorious for having teams with wide differences in player quality.
We shall see.
What you guys think?
Early warning for afl fans. Please, be very careful if you decide to take me on on the premise of this thread. I just don't want you guys to look like a pack of doey eyed doofi again

The Samoans never stood a chance. It was like watching the Melbourne Storm in the NRL this year. A graders playing B graders.

I Should've watched nz v Fiji but had to get out of the house ....

Wow! Missed the Lebanon match and now there's 8mins left in nz and Fiji and there's 2points in it!
It's a defensive amazeballs game. Both teams just battlin as hard as they can. I'd liken It to a defensive blockbuster in the afl. Real desperation and great defensive structures. Only someone who knows both games could appreciate.
And that then means my second prophecy has come true. The rlwc finals is already much much much much... much much much l less lopsided than than the 2017 afl finals
That's fuckin hilarious

There's not much scope in a game of huggomania to get uneven competitions!
They all want to hug each other too much!!

how much more pathetic would the NRLOL WC be if the minnow sides were not topped up by NRLOL players
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million
Leagueiscrap
and she still changes your nappies as well!

I really didn't think spambots could be capable of jealousy but, low and behold, it is!!
They're both clearly quite bitter that after just one week the 2017 rlwc finals has already outshone the 2017 afl finals series in terms of even on field contests
Oh and for the two spambots info - the NRL is a very multicultural comp (don't get jealous about that now ) hence most World Cup teams will include NRL players

How many lead changes was there?
Not including the first score of course.
The best bit of most matches was the cultural exchange.
Cumatea cumatea!
They might look to have a couple grades next time.
The skill divide was as big as the Valles Marineris.
Some teams didn't even score in some matches.
Didn't score a single point.
What's the point!
No lead changes in those ones that's for sure.

sport capital is seething with jealousy. He's trying his heart out to make the afl 2017 finals debacle go away.
2017 afl finals had, wait for it.... 1 close match!!!
And it was in week 1!
The rugby league World Cup had heaps of close ones
2017 afl season would Have been better off as a league without a finals series at all

Re: Will the 2017 Rugby League World Cup finals be as lopsided as the 2017 afl finals
It's official!
The RLWC was more lopsided.
Using the one true measure of lopsidedness, lead changes.
Now,
With a measly 17 for the entire tournament of 28 matches the RLWC had an average of 0.61 per match.
Compared to the AFL finals average of 1.77.
That's 190% more lead changes per AFL match.
As a ratio for crap. 1 : 2.9
So to answer your question.
YES! 190% more lopsided.
"Without stats you're just a flog with an opinion"
