It really is sad. The only fumblers claiming 'victory' are nrl and the missing link. Wookie hasn't said a thing. Even Fred retired from this thread the second Wookie posted the numbers. I gotta give Fred some credit here - he may be smarter than I think. Smart move Fredo.

But poor 'ol nrl is really struggling. I mean if you're in the trenches and you turn around and the only bloke you see with you is the missing link.....well.......fair dinkum......it's time to run for ya life lololololololololololol.

For your own health kids give it up. It's a highway to hell. No where to run. No where to hide. The numbers don't lie. Get out of the trench and run for ya lives back to your own lines Lolololololololololololol. It's much safer there!
there is no struggle. We win head to head 90% of the time. It isnt even close

Ratings are not a subjective thing, it is not a debate where the best argument wins. It is purely and solely numbers.......raw numbers.
Agree. We beat you 35-4. No explaining that away :)))
So far this year RL has had 128mill viewers and AFL 122mill. Take out NZ ratings and its almost even. BUT you fumblers are counting 50.......yes 50 more games!!!! Our average smashes your average out of the ball park.
which means nothing, especially given you have far far more available content
And we have the RLWC to come that will generate around 15mill or more ratings over 28 games.
which is even more available content. It means nothing about popularity, only amount
Gees pal, you're the gift that keeps on giving Lolololololololol.

So the RL ratings mean nothing because we have more 'available content'???????? Do you know how base stupid that comment is????

You dills have had 50.....yes 50.....more games counted than RL and still have been flogged.

Fumbling obviously, clearly and unequivocally has more content. I mean how stupid are you?? 50 more games for gods sake.

Please, please move on pal for your own good. I feel sorry for you but there is nothing more I can do for you than tell you the facts.

Move on my friend. There is more to life than men fumbling a ball.

we could have 100 more games, but it means nothing when almost all of them are shown against another game

You have more AVAILABLE content on TV despite the fact that your 8 games per round are only 16 hours viewing time while our 9 games are 27 hours viewing time. If I watch 16 hours of AFL I only get counted as watching 5 games as opposed to your 8.

Pretty much everything favours the NRL when counting cumulative ratings. The only logical comparison is like for like, game v game. You know it, everyone knows it

You're like the knight in Monty Pythons Holy Grail movie ya poor bugger. You've been beaten, battered, legs cut off, arms cut off, but you're still fighting Lolololololololol.

Good on ya for trying pal but just like the movie the crowd will ride straight past ya laughing and chortling and on to the next war lololololololololololol. And all the while you'll be fighting the last war and the war before. Both LOST!!!

For gods sake move on!!!

You have 0 FTA that overlap - absolute 0 so cut out your BS.

you have 4+ matches. No overlap. So stop regurgitating the same old crap and accept your silver. Show some graciousness most people would be over the moon if they won a silver medal.

As has been posted before
I'll put it in simple terms for the afl fans....still they'll have massive trouble understanding

In a horse race ...say the Melb cup.. (just to make the southern inbred folk feel good).
It's not what horse is in front past the post the first time .
It's not what horse is leading by 5 lengths at the 1400
It's not what horse is in front at the 200.
It's not what horse ran an exceptional 400 m sectional time .

All that matters is what horse was in front past the winning post .

You dumb hicks are jumping up & down waving your ticket around saying you won the race because of most of the above..except the highlighted bit .

Go to the TAB & try to collect when you got beaten ...beaten easily & argue that you were leading around the corner .
That means you won ..lol

Sadly that's what you're arguing here.
You just can't understand that you lost .
TLPG 🤣liar extraordinaire

but but but
Saturday night is a classic example. 2 games on at the same time, both on FTA into different states, both on FOX into every state. These 2 games achieve a similar total TV audience to a single game on Thursday or Friday night.

How can you possibly deny this?

As for accepting silver, the AFL won gold in these categories:
- highest rating GF
- highest rating final
- highest rating home and away game
- highest rating fox game
- highest rating FTA game
- more wins for head to head home and away games (25-4)
- more wins for head to head finals (8-0)
All these categories are comparable

RL won gold for:
- highest rating game
- highest cumulative total
These two categories are not comparable because the AFL doesnt have SOO and the NRL has more available content

7 golds to 2 is a resounding victory for the AFL
