Crowd and TV ratings predictions for Western Sydney Wanderers vs Sydney FC
It's a given the tv ratings will be a joke, how about a crowd prediction?
60k+, like the last time they met at ANZ Stadium? Top of the ladder Sydney FC vs the bandwagon Wanderers.
Me thinks the crowd figure will be well down on the last derby attendance. Time will tell.

Re: Crowd and TV ratings predictions for Western Sydney Wanderers vs Sydney FC
40k - 50k predicted.
According to ticket sales, the predicted attendance isn't set to reach past the 50,000 mark.
The Wanderers suggested that fewer than 6000 tickets had been sold to the designated Sydney FC bays as of Monday and they will be hoping for a large turn-up from stadium members as well as their own.
ANZ Stadium is hopeful of a late surge in demand for tickets but are expecting the figure to comfortably exceed 40,000.

So if it is 40,000 amazing figures for the year
61,000
40,000
40,000
Pretty good turn out, that would mean Sydney derby averages over 46,000
Personally I think the match on Saturday will be less than 40,000, considering how we are travelling, at 40,000 the average would be 20,000 more than the GWS and Swans got.

Why are you bitting post hoc? SFC Wand derby has very good crowd numbers. Its only the tv ratings which need to lift.post_hoc wrote: ↑Fri Feb 17, 2017 8:53 amSo if it is 40,000 amazing figures for the year

Re: Crowd and TV ratings predictions for Western Sydney Wanderers vs Sydney FC
How is it disappointing? That is the 3rd time they have played each other this season.
61,000 first game
40,000 second game
44800 3rd game.
You must be pretty stupid to think those are bad crowd figures.

Re: Crowd and TV ratings predictions for Western Sydney Wanderers vs Sydney FC
45000 is a good number but, and this is the question I ask, if this is their blockbuster game in soccer heartland then higher number would be expected. If you compare that to say the Anzac afl game, 45000 would be dissapoibting. I am unsure what the eqivilanr nrl game is? Again, this only applies if this soccer game is their biggest or one of the biggest outside finals.

Well Fredo once again you have let yourself down with your total lack of knowledge, research and cognitive ability. The SFS capacity is 45,000. They got 45,000 so it is not 'dissapoitbting' (what language is that?) because they filled it up.Fred wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2017 6:24 pm45000 is a good number but, and this is the question I ask, if this is their blockbuster game in soccer heartland then higher number would be expected. Also your confirmation bias is once again taking over. You live in a self imposed bubble. You should never compare any sport with your beloved fumbleball......because guess what?......your fumbling game will always come out in front in your challenged mind!!

The game was at ANZ Stadium you dill, not the SFS.Terry wrote: ↑Thu Feb 23, 2017 7:20 pmWell Fredo once again you have let yourself down with your total lack of knowledge, research and cognitive ability. The crowd was well down on the last game at ANZ Stadium where they got 61k earlier in the season. You clearly have no idea what we are talking about in this thread. Fair dinkum
