Maybe Syd has great beaches so the lure of a weekend at the GC isn't as attractive as it is to a Melb person .
lol

what about Adelaide and Perth? No good beaches there?

lol. Yeah that's it, Melbournites would rather travel to the GC than an hour to Woolamai or Bell's

lol. Yeah that's it, Melbournites would rather travel to the GC than an hour to Woolamai or Bell's, even though these beaches are as close to Melbourne as the majority of people in Sydney are from good beaches

You have no right to claim others are deluded with that logic

I said dunno
Maybe
Going by the thinking of AFl fans on here ...anything is possible .

Maybe because RL is a better game on TV than AFL then that could be why fans don't travel .
I don't know
You asked .
I put up an answer .

our beaches are nicer isnt an answer, it's a fukin joke.

Our product is better on TV isnt doing much for you either given the AFL outrate the NRL on TV almost every time they go head to head.

The answer is NRL fans are pea-hearted and would rather sit at home than go out of their way to attend a game. It also shows the excuses about poor crowds in Sydney are nothing more than excuses

Oh dear
Back to your ratings fishbowl .
I'd falsely hoped that it'd be the last we heard ..but no
Round & round

Simple fact RL is a better TV game ..as most of the action is in the viewing area on screen .

That’s all you have but but ratings
Actually league is better live due to being closer to the action and a far smaller playing field!

And ratings
Isn’t it funny when afl wins the rating boxes are questionable yet when league wins they are legit!

As that has been posted on here and LU several times in the past

Still you like to ignore the titans debts and were almost shut down by asic and kicked out of their specialy built Center of excellence and couldn’t afford to open stands for games whilst playing at home in a stadium the tax payer paid for after the titans designed it!

Now train at a local school and admin buildings are shared with the local council!

Talk about a dud product in so called league heart land!
Yet you still mock the suns!

League logic 101

I knew the answer, i just wanted to hear you guys say it.

Why dont NRL fans travel? NSW is far closer to the GC than Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.
Avg Home crowds similar.. to answer your question..

The Tv ratings come into play in this one..

the people in attendance at the game are 50% of the Tv Audience watching on TV
NRL games why they are on par with SUNS
Tv ratings are x 10 the crowd in attendance
also AFL Away support to games kills NRL games..

NRL home games looks like your playing at home

AFL games its split. ( to a netural viewer) alot of games you wouldn't know who is at HOME

Being MELBOURNE GAMES AND SUNS GWS LIONS
I'm not disputing RL is far and away the major code on the GC. I'm asking why NRL fans wont travel to the GC when they are far closer than most of the AFL's away teams?
Yeah i cannot really answer it either..

AFL generally have a better focus on attending away games for teams
the clubs and afl work together alot better than NRL does.
Membership discounts are offered for away teams in AFL

RUGBY LEAGUE however.. generally is HOME SUPPORT>

What i will say... SUNS are typically out numbered in alot of games.
Is that generally good for there brand and home ground advantage.

yes the Suns have a small following which is hardly surprising given their failure to succeed on the field, the professional sporting culture on the GC, and the fact the Lions already captured most AFL fans in the area

Due to it being remotely along the lines of what a league fan wants to hear!

Anything the remotely isn’t has you league loonies in a fit!

Like me constantly having to point out the abortion that is the titans I response to the Suns being a so called dud franchise

Like you and the suns

All you dweebs continue to ignore this and pretend the titans are the success story of the century and just mock the suns!

The titans have been that pathetic that they were holding their own charities that they had set up for ransom to extract every cent they could
