Rd 8 NRL this yr
http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/ ... 7320901265
LAST-placed Manly have upset ladder-leading Melbourne in their Anzac Day clash at AAMI Park with a hard-fought 12-10 victory.
Now for an education for the fumble disadvantaged.
We have been arguing on here about which Comp is closer .
It's no contest .
The NRL is a far closer comp ( just look at the odds for winner ,top 8. To miss top 8 .)
Yet the Derpy fans maintain the Aflol is as close or closer ..
I asked for one of you backward hicks to show an example of the last placed ladder team ( after at least about 1/4 of the season ) beating the no 1 side .
It doesn't happen in Aflol .
The basketcase teams just don't beat the ladder leaders ..
You mob have to console yourselves with a circle jerk over a bottom 8 team beating another bottom 8 team .
That's to be expected when your comp has two distinct leagues .
The haves .
&
The basket cases .
We don't gave that problem in the NRL .

Re: the Fumbles & Bumbles dead in QLD
All those different coloured seats at the gabba do a great job of hiding the fact that the ground over the last 3-4 years is never half full bar 1 or 2 games, yet their average is always above half capacity, hmmmmmmm strange huh?
Like back in the bad news bears days when a crowd of 3k was always given out as 8k, the swans used to do the same and we are seeing it now with gws and the thuns.

hows the suns who never played in a final going against the debt ridden gold coke titans, even with all the help from the NRLOL commission they still cant find a major sponsor only a few minor sponsors
think all you want deluted ****** AFL is alive and well in QLD despite the teams being on field basket cases
Australian sporting sponsorship
AFL excess of $50m
A league $30 million plus
ARU $27 million
NRLOL $25 million
Leagueiscrap

Lol said the parra fan. You guys can't even fill a tiny stadium. Perhaps you should borrow some wanderers fans.ParraEelsNRL wrote:All those different coloured seats at the gabba do a great job of hiding the fact that the ground over the last 3-4 years is never half full bar 1 or 2 games, yet their average is always above half capacity, hmmmmmmm strange huh?

Hayne has been carrying you guys for years. And now his gone. Sandow isn't consistant. And it is looking like another shit year. Such a rookie club.
Now that your team made that breach the only thing you can hope for out of it is a strip of the wooden spoon haha.
