To win the comp in the NRL the longest price is 51-1 ( there are 4 teams at these odds ) .

In the Aflol there are 9 teams ..half the teams over 51-1

To miss the 8 the longest price in the NRL is 5.60 .

The Aflol 17.00

Those odds are from Tom Waterhouse
& there's one thing that is a fact .
Bookies or betting agencies are not mugs .

There is no comparison between the codes .
The NRL is far far closer .

4 RDS into the Aflol season ,about 1/8 of the season

There is already a basket case league
There are teams which are no hope ,& not just one or 2 .
About 1/3 of the comp are considered basket cases with no chance .

5 out of the 9 games in the AFL on the weekend were not what the bookies would have predicted. Like they know in any case.

Heard the hosts of the big sports breakfast this morning on radio saying how pleased the AFL must be to have such results and such an evening up of the competition. They genuinely believed any team can win on any given week. Just like what the player in the OP was suggesting eh.
