AFL the worlds easiest football code to score points.
You hear the AFL delusionals carry on about how skillful their game is.
But when it comes to statistics. No other football code get scorelines in the hundreds like AFL.
Grid Iron Nope
Soccer Nope
Union Nope
League Nope
Not only this, AFL is the only code without a crossbar just to make it that bit easier to get those scores in the 100s.
Also no other code has an extra set of goals incase you miss either.
How can anyone take a game like this seriously is beyond fans of other football codes.
So next time an AFL fan tells you about skill. You basically know it is a load bollocks.

Re: AFL the worlds easiest football code to score points.
its a higher scoring game, simple. It's like saying basketball isnt as good as baseball because its easier to score.
Fact is it's a stupid argument because both teams play under the same conditions. Its not a case of who scores, its which teams scores higher. The skill is in making the most of the opportunities that present, just like any game

Yet basketball does'nt have an extra set of hoops on each side like AFL does with goals does it?

but cricket does. Hit with the intent to go over the rope, get a top edge, and you can still get 1, 2, 3 or 4 runs. The conditions are comparable for both teams, and the side that score the most wins, thats the idea

Re: AFL the worlds easiest football code to score points.
Lol using cricket .
It's not a football code .
These supposed skilled fumblers ,who have trained just about all their life ,still need a set of unco posts either side of the two giant posts ,for when they miss .
In Gridiron, sokka,RU RL ,you either get it over ( or under in Sokkas case) & between the two sticks .
There is no consolation for trying ,being unco & missing .

Re: AFL the worlds easiest football code to score points.
imagine bball with a lil set of side goals for the unco shooters out there!
I've played gaelic footy and the scores in that are also harder and you don't get freebies. Hence the scoreline is lower also.
And bball has a court which looks about one two hundredth the size of an afl footy field...yet afl scores are often much more than bball scores
Look guys lets be fukkin honest. I've played afl as well as RL and gaelic and union and bball and by far and away the sport which I found the easiest to pickup was marngrook. You have the following:
Loads of space to move and groove.
Loads of space to pass and cut/lead into.
No crossbar to score over or under.
Generally no goalkeeper and with no crossbar to score under it wouldn't matter anyway
You get lil bonus points for missing
The tackling is fairly soft and the players you gotta tackle have generally worked harder on their endurance trotting than they have on strength and power so knocking em over is like shooting fish in a barrel
The ball is slightly heavier and smaller than RU and RL balls making it easier to kick long and straight
There's barely any rules
You can make drop absolute sitters and...its PLAYON!
You get a lil rest at quarter and three quarter time.
And the list goes on and on, hence why the afl will proudly field a 40 year old this season and two NRL players were able to make the top grade and look not too bad half the time, ahead of thousands of youngsters who'd been playing it all their lives
Look me afl compardres, I've played the game and tbh I quite enjoyed it. But you just cant go putting it up there in terms of skill required. It's just not that hard ok.

10 pin bowling you score despite missing a strike. Darts you can score without missing your main target. Cricket you can score without even hitting the ball.
Every game has unique facets relating to scoring,

Re: AFL the worlds easiest football code to score points.
The skill required to score from any position in bball is greater than equivalent type shots at goal in marngrook I'm afraid. Trajectory, angle and depth of shot must be precise in bball whether it's an open dunk or a fade away three pointer under pressure. In marngrook it really don't matter how far you kick it, nor really how high...as long as you kick it far enough... and the angle to get a score is pretty obtuse from almost anywhere on the field
Sorry guys but I know and it's fukkin true ok. Please just deal with it rather than make turnips of yerselves. k?

not sure why its even a discussion. Sport is about outscoring your opposition so the ease or difficulty of scoring is pretty much irrelevantKing-Eliagh wrote:The skill required to score from any position in bball is greater than equivalent type shots at goal in marngrook I'm afraid. Shut yer whiny assss dribbling and jealous asss whining. I've played these sports and know what skills they require. The fact the afl gets good cwowds has jack diddly squat to do with it. I mean, look at the fukkin cwowds at American nascar.The_Wookie wrote:crowds and ratings prove it doesnt fucking matter. And im far from convinced youve ever played the fucking game.

None of those you mentioned are FOOTBALL codes .
Lol
Only one footy code has a reward for being UNCO..
& just because I can I will amuse myself .
how retaaarded you are .
Ten pin bowling .lol
There are ten pins to knock down .
You don't get an unco point for a gutter ball .

imagine if they placed a few extra pins in the gutter, just to help out those who couldn't get it on the pitch!
