NRL games are worth $1275 per minute
AFLs are worth $1170 per minute

So TV networks are paying more to NRL for less game time than they do for AFL.

The AFL broadcast deal also encompasses its FInals, Preseason, International Rules, Under 18s and Under 16s national championships. Not just the H&A season.

i meant the the normal the normal AFL premiership season,
the under 18s & 16s, & preseason stuff won't add much value to the overall broadcast rights, specially when you compare it to the NRLOL's SOO, 4 nations & international stuff.

if will be interesting if the VFL adds any value to the Broadcast deal, with it not going to be screened on commercial TV not the ABC this season
