Giants grow as the Snot Greens(Raiders) 4k behind!

All last year we heard how GWS would fail it was a basket case and it was the AFL pouring money into it to the AFL's detriment - now two wins a close loss after 3 rounds, average attendance of 12049 and membership on track to break last years record.
And the Snot Green Raiders - 7000 members (4k less than the Giants) home average of 9690 (2 1/2 k less than Giants) and a hotel group that's suffering a downturn in revenue!

Looks like unlike The Snot Greens who have 30 more years than GWS are fast becoming a laughing stock!!!

The GIANTS are proud to pass another milestone in 2014.
The GIANTS have reached another milestone for the 2014 season, passing 11,000 members after the win against Melbourne at Spotless Stadium.

After signing up 12,741 members last year, GIANTS Director and inaugural coach Kevin Sheedy said the club wanted to beat that total in 2014.

Canberra has always been a curious sporting town. I should know as I was born there and have been back many times. Bruce Stadium is not the most user friendly venue, and it's location in relation to the rest of Canberra is not the best. I wouldn't want to be living south of Tuggeranong as a Raiders supporter.
