the WAFL in NSW
Australian sporting sponsorship

That is a very strange result I have to say, to the point that I'm not so sure now that the zero ratings for the NRL in Adelaide are in fact correct.

Re: NRL Officially Dead In South Australia
the ratings are far from accurate, that is why several thing need to be taken in to account which is more popular, participation, crowds, tv ratings need to be taken in to account, this is why i place a high importance on sponsorship dollars that the leagues and clubs bring in. as companies will research something before pumping big money in to it.Cracker wrote:That is a very strange result I have to say, to the point that I'm not so sure now that the zero ratings for the NRL in Adelaide are in fact correct.
the bumsniffers like to play grasping for straws, when it comes to tv ratings, they get raped in every other department.

Re: NRL Officially Dead In South Australia
You are comparing games that is televised in the middle of night in sa where there is 1.5 million potential viewers to games played in prime veiwing timeslots, but on a secondary channel. Just so typical of you lot isnt it.leagueiscrap wrote:the ratings are far from accurate, that is why several thing need to be taken in to account which is more popular, participation, crowds, tv ratings need to be taken in to account, this is why i place a high importance on sponsorship dollars that the leagues and clubs bring in. as companies will research something before pumping big money in to it.Cracker wrote:That is a very strange result I have to say, to the point that I'm not so sure now that the zero ratings for the NRL in Adelaide are in fact correct.

You think or know, I think you are wrongCracker wrote:Let's be realistic, Dogs. That applies to both sides, because I think it's not much better on 7mate in Sydney for the AFL.

Re: NRL Officially Dead In South Australia
In fact I know you are wrong again Cracker, it may not be on the main channel, but the game are available at 7:30ish in Sydney and Brisbane. Here is the game breakdown over the weekend and the link to get the info. I notice when flicking channels that there was also a AFL game televised on 7mate on Thursday night in Brisbane (not sure of other states) that I did not include in the below, and it was at playing in prime timeDogs wrote:I think you are wrongCracker wrote:Let's be realistic, Dogs. Re: NRL Officially Dead In South Australia
so was I, the dumbo was trying to compare apple and oranges and I show how stupid that is. How can you compare Adelaide 1.5 mill to Sydney. Especially when NRL is shown in Sydney in prime time and NRl is shown in the middle of the night or early morning.Cracker wrote:I was talking about the ratings, Dogs.

Re: NRL Officially Dead In South Australia
No you weren't, you went to times of transmission in comparing AFL and NRL.
My comment that you are criticising is not affected by population base. Unless you are suggesting that more people are awake after hours in Sydney than there are in Adelaide - a claim that would be impossible to prove if so. Low ratings on the secondary digital channels are a problem for both codes (and for every other original program not on a main channel). That was my core point in case you missed it.

Re: NRL Officially Dead In South Australia
Bulldust, AFL is not televised in the middle of the night in Sydney and I proved that with a website Alternately Adelaide is. As for your c0ck and bull about I cant prove there would be more people awake after hours in Sydney. How about the fact that there is 4.5 time more people that live in the state grab yah as a good chance there is. Also, given I proved the game is not telecast in the middle of the night, your point is irrelevant. Like most things you post on this website.
Edit that one to suit yourself champ, as I have not said anything about you at all. Will copy it to my local pc to repost when you do.

Re: NRL Officially Dead In South Australia
There is no need to edit that because it would appear you got the message.
Now to what you said; Granted, maybe the AFL isn't shown at 2:30am in the morning in Sydney. But that wasn't my point. Can you point me to - for example - a high rating worthy of a main channel on either GEM or 7mate? The time of transmission has only a small effect (ie obviously prime time would rate better but the rating is still poor by main channel standards).
Does that make my point clearer to you?

After your performance tonight, I would say do the research yourself and only come back if you can compare apples with applesCracker wrote:There is no need to edit that because it would appear you got the message.
