More and more Victorians coming to Sydney looking for work, that would explain any gains made in the area.

Also Sydney has now gone past Melbourne as Aussies industrial city for the first time in half a century.

Face it AFL your base will decline in years to come.
You're lying. Manufacturing is on the decline nationwide. You're simply jumping on the ones that have attracted the biggest publicity. If Sydney was so good, why didn't Toyota move there instead of leaving the country altogether? Sydney is also the most expensive place to live so don't give me this "this is where the jobs are" bullshit. There are no more jobs in Sydney than there are in Melbourne. The jobs are going O/S.

and it'll be utter rubbish. 150k for a 20 minute game is nothing. The AFL preseason games are 2.5 hrs each, there's 18 plus finals, and they rate between 90-170k each. Thats around 50 hrs rating an average 130k each.

Compare that to the NRLs 16hrs rating even 200k

Not even a competition.
