More and more Victorians coming to Sydney looking for work, that would explain any gains made in the area.

Also Sydney has now gone past Melbourne as Aussies industrial city for the first time in half a century.

Face it AFL your base will decline in years to come.
You're lying. Manufacturing is on the decline nationwide. You're simply jumping on the ones that have attracted the biggest publicity. If Sydney was so good, why didn't Toyota move there instead of leaving the country altogether? Sydney is also the most expensive place to live so don't give me this "this is where the jobs are" bullshit. There are no more jobs in Sydney than there are in Melbourne. The jobs are going O/S.

and it'll be utter rubbish. 150k for a 20 minute game is nothing. The AFL preseason games are 2.5 hrs each, there's 18 plus finals, and they rate between 90-170k each. Thats around 50 hrs rating an average 130k each.

Compare that to the NRLs 16hrs rating even 200k

The truth is its 8 hours averaging between 100-200k

& tell me whats 200K times 8hrs you monga fumbling cockhead ?  :(/ :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<>

fuckin hell
this mob get stupider by the day   :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<>

we'll be popping this 3 million plus onto our total cumulative audience for 2014
looks like it'll be silver again for the VFL whats that?

6 years in a row?
and it'll be utter rubbish. 150k for a 20 minute game is nothing. The AFL preseason games are 2.5 hrs each, there's 18 plus finals, and they rate between 90-170k each. Thats around 50 hrs rating an average 130k each.

Compare that to the NRLs 16hrs rating even 200k

Not even a competition.

   :(/ :(/ :(/ :_<> :_<> :_<> :_<>
the 3.2 Million for the NRL are , NEW ratings to our total dickhead
its like 12 extra club matches :\: :\: :\: :\: :\: :\: :\:

the VFL always add the pathetic KNOB cups ratings to their total , which appear to be heading for an all time low total to boot

the VFL is headed for another defeat by RL

will it ever beat RL for ratings totals ever again ? :-k, I mean with the NRL about to increase its game tally to 216 from 192 in 2018
I'd say the chances are slim
very

very

slim
Which cumulative ratings would those be Dave? I haven't seen a total figure since Roy masters gave up counting a few years back.
Add to they're meaningless given each game was 20 minutes :(/
King-Eliagh: ...I believe [RL] is popular in all the other states and territories, bar tasmania.
