Oi, I guess the almighty Vfl forgot one thing eh and I have no idea how they are going to counteract this one, golly gee :<> :<> :<>

The Sydney Roosters (or as I like to call them, Eastern Suburbs because they're cos789's old team) are the current minor and reigning Premiers, they will be playing the European champions Wigan Warriors (Pie Eaters won the double being Challenge Cup and Super League Premiers) in Sydney at Allianz Stadium on the 22nd of February in the annual Rugby League World Club Challenge. This will be the first time since 1994 that the pom champions have come out here to win the WCC, the last time it was played here, Wigan (as above) won against the Broncos in QLd by 20-14 in front of 54,000.

Hmmm, what's GWS doing that day?

Any chance the Vfl can quickly put another game on the table to Stamp its authority? :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/ :(/

yes
the NRL is confident of 40,000 attending the first WCC game to be played in Ausralia in 20 years in Sydney
& of course this is a week after the 9's tournament in Auckland that has already sold almost 50,000 tickets & officials haven't even started to promote it yet
80,000 could end up attending the 2 days :\: :\: :\: :\: :\:

seems only one sport is stamping its authority .. & its players don't wear singlets :-k
