Re: one city , one state , one country
Dave, you are saying afl has no real interest outside Melbourne as three games so far this round outside of Melbourne have an average crowd of 20000. Well the point is, what does this say about interest in the nrl then who across the whole competition don't average that ?

Re: one city , one state , one country
So last weeks average of 11k across Aus and NZ means that handball (by ur analogy) has even less interest than AFL - as AFL has an Average 9k more than NSWRL(NRL)! Thx RD never looked at it that way but you have cleared it all up for me RL club competition well and truly fucked!

Classic self ownage!!
20k means no one cares, yet it is more than 3k above the NRLs average and double some NRL teams like the one Dave supports!! so what Dave is saying is that definitely no one case about NRL even in its own heartland city!
I should sticky this as proof of Daves stupidity! :_<>

30k at the scg, 27k at the GABBA, 37k at Subiaco, 35k in Adelaide....they're all recent crowds at AFL games outside Melbourne this season. But to you they are of no note despite being FAR bigger than the NRLs average crowdRaiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:Classic self ownage!!

Dave, your OP stated that AFLs crowds outside Melbourne indicate no one gives a rats about AFL outside Melbourne.Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:30k at the scg, 27k at the GABBA, 37k at Subiaco, 35k in Adelaide....they're all recent crowds at AFL games outside Melbourne this season. This will be a very interesting answer.....

So lets see,
Brisbane Bronco's have not had crowds of 80k therefore as you stated RD there is no interest there!
There has only been Representative exhibition games in Sydney of 80k so there's interest in Sydney
There's no 80k crowds for Melbourne Storm, Canberra Raiders, NZ Warriors, Newcastle, Gold Coast or Cowboys games! We can therefore safely rely on your logic that there's no interest in RL in these area's thx RD - thx for clearing that up for us - but the interest in Melbourne in AFL must be more than Sydney's interest in RL because that ONLY get 80k to a representative exhibition match (SOO). So again RL in London and Sydney thats it but only for exhibition matches! AFL at least popular in Melbourne at club level!
