And the Representative season begins
tonight with the ANZAC test in Canberra
first time the Kangaroos have played in our nations capital
needless to say the game is sold out
& it will be watched by a larger TV audience then any VFL H&A game this year
in a few weeks there'll be a little series known at the State of Origin that will harness 12 million TV veiwers for its 3 games
& at the end of the year a world cup in the UK , with the final at Old Trafford Manchester in Nov , nearing a sellout already with no one even knowing for sure who'll be in it
wow
just wow =D> =D> =D>
meanwhile the singlet wearers
will be watching .. the same ol tripe they always do ....

And the odds for this meaningless match are...
Kangawhos $1.13
New Zealand $6.25
What a fucking joke of an international sport. These are the two best teams in the world and the odds are outrageously lopsided.
I think I'll tune into Sydney v Geelong, thanks.

Don't worry one game of origin alone makes up for it.Drac wrote:Thanks for the nRL free weekend. Saturday 100% to the AFL. Idiots lol.

Makes up for what? I don't understand the point you're trying to make.Rabbit wrote:Don't worry one game of origin alone makes up for it.Drac wrote:Thanks for the nRL free weekend. Saturday 100% to the AFL. Idiots lol.

http://www.theroar.com.au/2013/04/19/ho ... by-league/What do you think about the Test match this weekend? The talk is that nobody seems to be talking about the game at all. Instead we seem to be talking about what a fizzer it is destined to be.
Simply put, neither game is drawing much interest at all, nor is the overall anticipation level above zero.
The general consensus from fans has been that this representative weekend is really just a somewhat annoying interruption to what has been a pretty engaging first six rounds of the NRL competition.

Re: And the Representative season begins
Why can't they pack it out for normal arse Raiders matches? oh yeah, people from NSW/QLD don't travel down there for Raiders games. Probs only 10k locals there like usual.Rabbit wrote:The people that have packed out bruce would say differently
