Oh. What have we here? Three AFL fans discriminating professionals based on their physical characteristics. Yes I guess this is befitting of the narrow minded mono-cultural twats who are involved in the game. Never mind how skillful they are - as long as they have one white parent and aren't overweight.Drac wrote:

Re: AFL - participation numbers boom
http://mt-druitt-standard.whereilive.co ... rn-sydney/THE goal for Greater Western Sydney AFL is to introduce an all-female junior league by 2016.
And who would doubt them after a year which saw participation numbers rise by 8111 people in the region, a growth of 28 per cent from last year.
The Auskick junior development program reached an all-time high of 16,607 players and Greater Western Sydney AFL manager Dean Connors attributed it to the establishment of the GWS Giants.
"They have done a really good job to bolster the program with all the player visits and the children's camps," he said.
The annual participation figures showed 16,202 school, 165 veteran and 157 female players.
The Penrith Ramettes and Auburn Tigers played their first seasons in the AFL Sydney women's competition this year and Connors said interest for a junior girls' league was growing.
"We need to develop it at the grassroots level," he said.
Auskick is a national program which began in 1998 and seminars focus on kicking and passing to develop more skills in the sport.
