Attendance figures for the 3 top League comps.
2019 Regular season, different sites have slightly different figures so in all cases I have used the HIGHEST listed.
NRL total: 3,060,825. Average: 15,381
Super League total: 1,454,000. Average: 8,441
Championship: 428,570. Total: Average: 2,645
Rugby League: Total: 4,943,395. Game Average: 8,822 Round Average: 26,467 (being generous)
AFL Total: 6,954,187. Average: 35,122
Rugby League: Worlds most popular game.....perhaps not

Yes I did, and internationals and other “event” games that league fans seem to prefer to watch than your regular season games.

The final game of the nrlol finals series two teams fighting it out for the last sport in the grand final!
The nrl with sheer embarrassment on their face have been throwing out free tickets left right and center! So no excuse should be a packed house!
I’m guessing 28k with allowance of around 10k in the nrls quoted number to actual people there

If that was the swans playing to qualify for a grand final what do you think the crowd would be ?
But .... the grounds no good
But .... two sides no one follows
But.... traffic ... it’s hard to get too
But.....people prefer to watch rl on tv (unless it’s SoO)
But......... Saturday night is a bad time slot

Better than the swans average of 31070 this year...but wait. This is a deciding final. And 1 team from Sydney and the other the most successful NRL Team in recent times... and what can I say. Great crowd by NRL standards. And chuckles played on an oval stadium..

The nrl number needs an * on the bottom of it stating that the number includes several thousand free tickets
