You’ve been a lean poster lately, pity, this forum needs a bit more rational argument.

The Australian
The biggest crowd of the year watched Richmond take on Brisbane at the MCG on Sunday.

A turnaround in the on-field fortunes at Carlton and Brisbane Lions have helped the AFL defy a downturn in attendances across several sports in Australia and around the world, posting its third consecutive season of rising crowds.

Hey fuckwit

You specifically said the giants AND THE AFL. because you know the AFL being strangers to 40,000 crowds and all that. Fuck off with your sweeping generalisations. Its not like the AFL OR the Giants expected 40,000 at the Showgrounds either jackass.
I specifically said the bolded bit below ..that's all
The rest is part of a media article .
I suspect you know that ...but won't admit it .
That would be admitting you got it wrong

I see the Ginats are playing a final at No-Name stadium on 7 September. Bearing in mind they got the lowest AFL finals game attendance since 1916 .......yep......over 100 years ago.....lol......a couple of years ago what's the odds they'll go even lower this year.

They're playing the Bulldogs who apparently have a poor following so I can't see many travelling fans coming to No-Name.

Stay tuned....I'll keep you posted!!!!
An nrlol team would be over the moon with an attendance that gws got that game!
Especially when ticket prices of that finals game taken in to consideration :)))
Oh dear .
The Vi posts laughable rot again .
Seriously What the fuck is wrong with you ?

THEY drew the lowest AFL finals crowd in 100 years but GWS chief executive David Matthews has dismissed suggestions it was a poor turnout.

While support for the fledgling franchise has increased, only 14,865 fans turned out to see the Giants’ 67-point win over West Coast at Spotless Stadium.

The Giants and AFL got a reality check when, next door at ANZ Stadium, 41,287 fans watched Parramatta’s NRL semi-final clash with North Queensland.

No one can be this stupid & function normally in society .

Metho madness.

Good crowd for Broncos this week, 33,020. 3rd highest for the season.
Not enough to get them over a home average of 30k.,
29,516 for 2019, their lowest since 2004.

Newcastle vs Titans 8274.
Lowest home crowd for the Knights since 1997.
And on the Weekend that Channel 9 announces it wants one NRL side to go and a new team in Brisbane.
