Re: NRL can't fit their fans into their stadiums
AFL teams only have 11 home games. The storm have 12. There were 35 home and away AFL games in QLD/NSW/ACT. There were 14 NRL games in Vic/SA/WA. Dividing by 3 doesn't quite cut it then does it (3x14=42)? The storm were near top. Two of the AFL sides on the bottom. Hmmmm, NRL expansion.... [/quote]Xman wrote:Raiderdave wrote:Xman wrote:

You'll take comprehensive failure, Dave? Typical loser like I've always said and that's you, coward. If your precious ECRL was so popular it wouldn't be at 196,000. It would be at least 300,000. But it's NOT!
ECRL = Epic fail.

These figures show that on average every AFL expansion team is well ahead of the storm, who have had 14 years of success. 2 of the afl teams are bottom of the ladder. One has only been around for a year.
NRL expansion in AFL states of Australia is a massive fail!

Sure, two have had success. None like the storm though.

Oh really? Sellout 10 days before kickoff eh?Raiderdave wrote:the 1st round game between the Tigers n Sharks will sellout tomorrow 10 days before kickoff .... sharks members demanding reserve seating but theres none left
Seems there are still tickets to go on sale to the general public as well with Sharks members also in the mix.
It is expected the match will sell out early next week after Sharks members and Tigers non-ticketed members took advantage of a three-hour window to buy tickets yesterday before they went on sale to the general public.

Gees you'd wanna hope a Round 1 game promoted as a blockbuster could sellout this dilapitated ground. Plenty of seats on offer still though.
