Even with the massive handouts from the AFL.
St Kilda is expected to announce a loss of between $1.5 million and $2 million for the 2011 season, beaussie, you have been very loud about the state of RL clubs and yet there is certainly quite a few AFL clubs struggling

That's not a struggle at all when the AFL got millions in it's last TV deal. The Saints can stay liquid comfortably thanks to the sort of support that most NRL clubs can only dream of.

beaussie was very vocal about the financial state of NRL clubs
I pointed out theres plenty of issues amongst AFL clubs too ... which he summarily denied

& look whats happening
they're lining up to report losses... big losses .. left right & centre...

gee its hard being right about everything every time
I'm your alter ego tipsy... in that you never get anything right ... ever

A few clubs in the AFL are experiencing short term financial pain. Nothing our record $1,253 Billion media rights deal wont be able to cover.

Meanwhile in your code Dogs, 15 of your 16 clubs are BROKE

Club membership will cover most debts, Raiderdave. Sponsorship will cover the rest. Everything is under control, except maybe at Port Adelaide but they'll bounce back when the SANFL sell AAMI Stadium and move operations to Adelaide Oval.

Whereas in the NRL it's out of control, and your membership numbers are nowhere near ours.

ah ... no .. 8-[ :-k

It hasn't here ... has it ? [-X

finances are income V outgoings
income includes memberships & sponsorships

they weren't enough to cover the outgoings ..... hence the loss
about the 6th to be reported by AFL clubs in the last few weeks

the AFL .. spinning out of control

Income will increase between now and the 2012 season and outgoings are down.

Out of control? You'd be laughed out of every business and financial consultant in town if you put that to them.

No assumption at all. You are the dreamer, and that would explain your lack of rationality.

If you had any business acumen like I have, you'd realise just how foolish you are making yourself look.

Being a throwball fan who doesn't appreciate what memberships can mean for clubs, it's obvious Raider and co have no idea what they are talking about.
