I wouldn't ask him, Beaussie. Ask someone else who'll give you a rational answer.
Rugby League has a lying culture. Altering crowd figures, relying on inaccurate TV figures from regional NSW and refusing to distance itself from Leagues Clubs and obtain it's own club memberships as it relies on LC's to survive as private entities.

Many people who were born in Sydney move to the Riverina to avoid the crowding. The populations of Albury and Wagga Wagga are quite substantial.

Raider, has there EVER been an NRL player from Melbourne?

not yet

but this young bloke will in a year or 2
young Ritchie Kinnear .. the first Victorian born n raised to play Rugby League for Australia , at schoolboy level.

http://www.sportingpulse.com/assoc_page ... nID=194335

The pathway for young Victorians to reach the pinnacle of rugby league has received another huge boost with the inclusion of the first Victorian Junior Player in the Australian Under 18s Schoolboys Rugby League team. Richie Kennar was yesterday called into the Australian team for the 2nd test against the Kiwis to be played this Saturday in Auckland

the Storm made the 2009 SG Ball U 18's Grand Final with 13 Victorian kids in the squad of 25 .. & I mean born n raised in Victoria
most now playing in their toyota cup U20's side
theres kids coming through everywhere

needless to say
by the time the storm turn 30... in 2028
they'll of been a lot more born n raised Victorians playing NRL ... then Sydneysiders that will have played AFL up to 2011

You are an exception to the rule. If you are telling the truth that is.

Oh dear, millions ripped out of NRL club coffers by News Ltd and handed over the regular finals appearing Melbourne Storm year after year and yet after more than a decade, still NOT 1 Rugby League player from Victoria in the NRL. :(/ :(/ :(/

It's because no one wants to play the game in Victoria. All the small number of fans want to do is watch it. Not very productive.
