Obama in Australia
Yes folks, the most powerful Native in the World is coming to Australia and what is the bet he will be photographed with an AFL ball handpassing it around with the locals, just like he did with Julia in the Oval Office recently. The NRL must be so upset to be sidelined yet again by the superior AFL product!

Re: Obama in Australia
Thanks for reposting this topic where it belongs AFL 'Warrior' Tops work, maybe now I can post in it without my post being deleted by that messed up control freak TLPG.
Now listen to me AFL 'Warrior' you racist bogan snotbellied vomitfaced gubba. Obama chooses to associate with the AFL simply because it is a uniquely Australian game and the dumb yank is simply after our turf for his own country's benefit. The fact the AFL are happy for their product to be abused by America during this disgraceful strategic abuse of our country is pathetic. Well done the NRL for steering clear of Obama and that dirty dirty queen. =D> Neither of these two turkeys are or ever will be even close to Australian and yet the AFL pimps itself out to them like the $2 hooker it is. I guess when you have no international presence you'll stoop as low as it gets to expose yourself

Re: Obama in Australia
AFL, it's our game and no one else can play it.
But as soon as anyone with any profile comes out here, you try and shove it down their throats to get some recognition internationally.
How sad, how VICTORIAN

Re: Obama in Australia
World leaders and politicians in Australia recognise the unique place Australian Rules football has in the Aussie psyche/hearts and minds. Politicial suicide not to acknowledge that FACT!!!

Really, well that's news to me. On her most recent visit to Australia it was all AFL in the spotlight.

Re: Obama in Australia
Ever seen her at an actual game?
Bahahahaha, she has been to heaps of RL games out here.

Here's the only ever Haka done at Buckingham Palace (RL all golds tour).
Pic of a Souths v Balmain game from years ago, can't find the other one where she's cheering in the stands.
She also opened Parramatta stadium and watched Parra smash St George.

Re: Obama in Australia
Stop making shit up. As we saw this week and in weeks gone by, very few in the UK give a shit about Rugby League.

Re: Obama in Australia
Have to address this and state that the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh attended the first ever VFL Sunday game between (IIRC) Richmond and Fitzroy at the MCG in 1970 - it was moved there SPECIFICALLY for Her Majesty!
I see that this thread has gone the right way this time - despite the misleading title.

Re: Obama in Australia
The nrl is a joke and will always be, that is why world leaders avoid this trashy game when they visit our shores.
